A mesh front panel with very fine mesh in the center, which allows for plenty of airflow to be pulled in from the three included 200 to 1800 RPM 140mm black PWM fans. The I/O on the Lancool III is on the top of the case by default, which is reversible, so you can move to the bottom if you wish, but plugging in anything USB is going to be challenging, especially USB thumb drives. At the top of the Lancool III, there’s a fill port on the radiator bracket that supports up to 420mm. Provided any connectors aren’t too long, plugging in a USB cable or audio jack shouldn’t be an issue, when located anywhere on a desk. A front, top and left side magnetic dust filter is offered to provide a higher level of dust filtration.

Perhaps the improvement in temps on the GPU front are correlated to the mesh flaps on the PSU shroud. The case was well-packed and came with a little tray for keeping screws and small pieces organized and neat. Lian Li has built upon the knowledge that was acquired with the previous generations of the Lancool series to bring something rather special to the Lancool III.

The Lancool III is a pretty great case that provides some nice upgrades over the Lancool II, especially with the sheer amount of included fans. The RGB model comes with three ARGB PWM 140mm fans installed at the front of the case and one on the rear. Lian Li has created an impressively stylish case that looks amazing from any angle, while also offering great functionality. Nevertheless, it will work for most and shouldn't be a problem as most cases have the PS in the bottom of the case.The best part is that these fans are the larger 140mm design, providing greater airflow capability at a quieter operating volume. It isn’t very common to have support for custom water cooling loops, so this is a ‘cool’ addition to the case.

The included fans aren’t cheap, as the aRGB spinners in the front get up to 1650 RPM, while the one in the rear can hit 1800.The hinged magnetic tempered glass panels are a nice touch, and the four included fans is honestly an awesome inclusion. Another point to note is that the RGB version comes with two buttons on the front IO (C and M) that control the colour and lighting mode of the RGB fans. Out of the box, this case comes with three 140mm RGB PWM fans pre-installed at the front, coupled with a 140mm PWM fan in the rear of the case.
