This hands down the worst book I have ever read and I am glad it's going back to the library and I did not purchase it. Alcohol isn’t what’s making that “homeless guy in Las Vegas,” (who she’s continually referencing) miserable and living on the street; there are other causes that she’s ignoring. Her line of argumentation is (obviously) very one-sided and as it's written to reach out to even the unconscious thinking, there are a lot of points which were being made repeatedly and got boring to someone that didn't need to be helped. They fear drinking less will be boring, difficult and involve deprivation, and significant lifestyle changes.

She is enjoying exploring everything sober life has to offer and is looking forward to sharing her experience along the way.I also was not on board with her comments about how you can and should feel smug knowing things about alcohol the drinkers around you don't know.
