To help with current shortages, we have switched production in our distillery to create an alcohol hand sanitiser. April 2023- Ramsbury Single Estate Vodka has won a double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition as well as being a finalist for best in class, with results being announced in June. The Start Point lighthouse in Salcombe marked the beginning of the voyages of the 19th-century fruit schooners that carried exotic goods from the Azores and Mediterranean to the UK. Though earthy juniper is dominant, it’s followed by bright, zingy citrus – as well as a subtle, warming spice. June 2023 - Junipalooza- Ramsbury Single Estate Spirits was part of the unique event at Tobacco dock showcasing and sampling their Single Estate Gin and Vodka. You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover but this smooth, juniper- led gin lives up to its classy label.Ramsbury Bespoke Gin Experience held in our new gin school, an experience like no other in Wiltshire. A part of the London Cocktail Week Village was transformed into a slice of the countryside, complete with a gorgeous floral installation and cocktails on tap - ready to transport you to the Ramsbury Estate in Wiltshire. The International Wine and Spirits Competition and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition awarded us silver medals (2023). All of our honey beer’s ingredients, save the hops, come from within the AONB – and the brew has the addition of local honey from Ramsbury, perfectly encapsulating the wonders of the British countryside that spans areas of Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. We then distil it through our 43-plate copper still, creating a base spirit that gives our gin an incredibly smooth texture. Built in 2015, our distillery is kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment, including a 43 plate copper still, and 2 pot stills for gin production.
