The only people in Peanut’s life who seem to care are her younger sister Little-Bit and the annoying kid from school, Rockwell. If I'd not read them one after the other then I think the brief explanations would've been useful as reminders only, but not reliable enough to "fill me in on what I'd missed", you know? My 10 year old daughter is not a massive reader at all but when she read the first book of Peanut Jones, she could not put it down and was completely engrossed in it. Bronnie is so lovely with the boys and we also felt that having a man enthusing about the books set a great example.

Peanut Jones is a brilliantly written character with her sidekicks it feels like there is no mountain she can't climb or mystery she can't solve. The characters are so much fun and I love the addition of Rob's artwork - such a fantastic composition. BOOK OF THE MONTH - A heart-warming and hilarious story told in 25 chapters, perfect for the countdown to Christmas. This book was fiction and my favourite character was mr and mrs m because they didn't want mr white to do his plan so went out of their way to stop him. Die Story selbst ist spannend, fesselnd, sehr fantasievoll, die Charaktere einfach rundum liebenswert (bis auf die Bösen, versteht sich) und herrlich detailliert beschrieben.
