About this deal

I really wish to own this one day, but probably anything less than 300 or so for a good copy is going to be a scam.

After doing a first deep cleaning, I listened the entire album, having in my mind all the bad reviews (terrible sound on Teen Spirit, Polly, Something in the way) and I have to say that I'm a lucky man. Furthermore, for those interested in trying out this pressing, it's worth noting that Music On Vinyl and MoFi have a long history of digitally sourcing their material, many of which are highly respected.

The bass is not as intense and the soundstage is a tiny bit more narrow, but there is a bit more sibilance in the Grundman. Overall, this pressing is OK at last, but maybe I just got a bad copy (I don't have any other pressing to compare).

Nirvana brought him in cos he’d worked with former Sub Pop labelmates Tad, and the mighty churning hardcore of Minneapolis band Killdozer. The deluxe edition has eight discs, which include some famous 91/92 tour shows including the famous Paradiso show.I do not actively sell records, but as a collector may stand to someday benefit from the value of these records continuing to increase.

Maybe Red Hot Chili Peppers would have gained the same iconic status as Nirvana if Flea had killed himself after the release of Blood Sugar Sex Magik. A vinyl edition (which also comes with that same seven-inch) features the remastered album and comes in a premium ‘tip-on’ sleeve. As I positioned myself in the magical triangle again, scotch in hand,I let my eyes wander towards the turntable. It's not perfectly silent when you first play a new copy: especially side B has a bit of surface noise, or swooshing, in the right channel. The linked album that is was also printed in Blue has a different printed bar code on the cover as well, so I’m not sure what I have here. One of the reasons I enjoy this album is because my father used to play it on repeat a lot (and I mean a lot) and that kind of makes it a nostalgic album for me at least, this doesn't even count the great songs 'Come as you are' and 'Smells like teen spirit' which really encapsulate the later end of 80s and early 90s rock.
