About this deal

It was easy enough read though so hence middle marks 3/5 but I wouldn’t rush to read his books again.

Most of our PDFs are also available to download and we're working on making the final remaining ones downloadable now. When you make an arse of yourself and get caught out, it’s always a good idea to acknowledge you’ve messed up and then apologise. It’s so loud that when one approaches it can feel as if it’s personally attacking your eardrums and it kicks up so much dust as it comes down to land that you could be forgiven for feeling you’ve been caught in a sandstorm. It’s when your mental and physical sides are out of whack that you feel lost, have that sense that you’re failing to reach your potential or just end up making the same bad decision over and over again. I also found a lot of these self help revelations he made were AFTER the fact he messed up and doesnt seem to have real world basis or evidence that its worked for him.

His first book, First Man In, was a Number 1 bestseller, staying in the hardback charts for 33 weeks, and selling over 500,000 copies across all formats. But if you want some straight talking kick up the backside kind of fodder it could be right up your street. I mean I even get the impression you joined the SAS as a badge to flash around and say “look at me I was part of the elites “ when in fact he was barely in it. Nothing groundbreaking but I wasn’t expecting that - he’s not a professional counsellor or psychologist. Although I can’t say I learned anything new, it was nice to hear him talk about some the difficulties he has had in his life and how he has overcame them.According to Wikipedia, Middleton was convicted of the unlawful wounding of one police officer and common assault upon a second in 2013. I was able to keep my head during those tense moments in the village square because I was in sync with myself. The book also seems to be very repetitive, not helped by the fact that he starts on one subject area and then disappears off on a tangent. Then I started another routine, just as familiar to me now as the methodical checks on my weapons I’d made in the final seconds before we touched down. The Afghans were behaving like they’d been told that the world was going to explode in the next few minutes, and I was just trying to work out what the fuck was going on.
