About this deal

The boys trained with great intensity, learning to rap, sing pop and dance, and in time, the label broke through and the boys made a name for themselves in the big city and the world beyond with the launch of their first album 2COOL4SKOOL in 2013. They learn how RM brings the group together and leads it through the Korean music industry’s upheaval. This could be nice in theory, if it wasn't so ceaseless that in the end the descriptions blur together and just become irritating. BEYOND THE STORY diawali dengan 21 foto BTS sebagai artis sekaligus individu, satu per satu ditampilkan dengan ekspresi wajah dan tatapan mata mereka yang polos. BTS, an acronym of "Bangtan Sonyeondan" or "Beyond the Scene," is a boy band from South Korea that debuted on June 13, 2013.

They make several comments regarding gender throughout the book but don’t discuss the misogyny in some of their songs, for which they released a formal apology in 2016. They have risen to the peak as an iconic global artist and during this meaningful time, they look back on their footsteps in the first official book. The band is also known for its responsibility towards its fans, the ARMYs who have been with them through thick and thin. RM/Kim Namjoon became a natural team leader being the oldest trainee (in terms of the time he spent training at Big Hit). Before some members’ individual military enlistments, the band released Proof, an ode to the last ten years of creating music as a group in which they curated new tracks and released the demo versions of a few older songs.Meanwhile, Korean Dramas such as Crash Landing on You and Squid Game had become worldwide hits and the band’s transition from Korean to English also brought in more fans. Big Hit Entertainment’s director and BTS’s producer Bang Si-hyuk bet everything on a group of trainees to debut as BTS, and everyone else was let go from their contracts. It was wonderful to hear the members’ perspectives on the different ups and downs they’ve had as a group. The book would have benefited from heavy editing and as it is, could have gotten the message across in half the length or less. BTS: The seven members of BTS—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—are at the center of this book.

but i am so thankful this book will be on my bookshelves forever and that bts gave us this vulnerable insight on them as creators and humans for this last decade. This isn’t limited to public participation but also extends to fan meetings, both virtual and in-person and tickets for these are also sold like concert tickets. Numbers getting bigger doesn't actually carry much emotional weight without well-built context and it seems that they're supposed to pack the punch that an actual narrative would have provided to the story, yet fail miserably. It didn’t have the deep pockets to market BTS at the level of bigger players, so the group built a following instead through vlogging.

For someone who is not part of the BTS ARMY, this volume provides a sense of the group’s history and experiences. RM, who wrote the lyrics, told Kang that this early reckoning helped him recognize the problem in time to change his attitude and behavior. The sentiment also appears in their third-English single, Permission to Dance, created in 2021, at the height of the pandemic. The Taylor Swift effect: why a mystery book is rocketing up US charts – despite no one knowing anything about it". I figured I'd be able to have a variety of experiences if I were an idol and an actor at the same time.Of course, all of this is on-brand for BTS – opening up, sharing their struggles, or things that may be embarrassing for others but are important life lessons for BTS. Even before they made their debut on a televised showcase, naysayers were already dragging the group in the comments sections of online forums. For me, I got the impression that, if I looked back on my life later on, I wouldn’t be able to explain it without this part I did together with these people. Published in celebration of BTS’s 10th Anniversary, and written over 3 years of in‑depth coverage, in interviews by Myeongseok Kang, BTS shares personal, behind-the-scenes stories of their journey so far. Dengan mempertahankan objektivitasnya sebagai pengamat, Kang menyertakan interviu individu para member BTS, yang menyampaikan suara dan pendapat mereka secara gamblang.

Let’s focus on achieving more for them and getting them the longevity and success they truly deserve. Belum pernah ada buku Korea yang dirilis serentak dengan puluhan versi bahasa asing di berbagai tempat pada tanggal publikasinya. I loved how they subverted my expectations of the things that a boy group would discuss in their songs. They also go in depth with explaining how overwhelming their international success became and why they almost decided to disband at the beginning of 2018.Of course we didn’t know their inner thoughts on everything, but there aren’t too many revelations present here. According to Kang, gender sensitivity training is now obligatory for all all artists at Big Hit (now known as HYBE) before they can debut.
