About this deal

Grosz was hated by Hitler and was one of the first artists to be labelled degenerate by the Third Reich. He left Germany shortly before Hitler seized power. Labelled “Cultural Bolshevist Number One” by the Nazis, the artist became an American citizen in 1938 after he was stripped of his citizenship. Cain or Hitler in Hell has remained in his family’s ownership since Grosz painted it, the museum says. It will now be displayed in the museum’s permanent exhibition. The painting was acquired with funding from the States’ Cultural Foundation and the German government, according to a statement from the German Historical Museum. George Grosz Cain or Hitler in Hell In " ¡Diablo!" when Amenadiel mentions hearing a voice in Hell he never thought would be there Lucifer quips "Mother Teresa? Mr. Rogers? Adel?" Its unknown if Lucifer was being sarcastic or if these three are in Hell. Eventually, she found the man’s office, only to learn that he’d skipped town. Fortunately, his assistant was pretty familiar with the geography of Hitler’s mouth and gave a vivid description of his teeth, a description that sounded like the teeth in Rzhevskaya’s box. Even better, the assistant produced Hitler’s X-rays and matched them up perfectly with the charbroiled jaws. Now it was official. Adolf Hitler was most definitely dead. In " Pilot", Lucifer tells a young girl that there is "a special section of Hell reserved for bullies". Jehovah's Witnesses came into conflict with the Nazi regime because they refused to salute Adolf Hitler with the Nazi salute, believing that it conflicted with their worship of God. Because refusing to salute Hitler was considered a crime, Jehovah's Witnesses were arrested, and their children attending school were expelled, detained and separated from their families. The Wehrmacht refused to adopt the Hitler salute officially and was able for a time to maintain its customs. [66] A compromise edict from the Reich Defense Ministry, issued on 19 September 1933, required the Hitler salute of soldiers and uniformed civil servants while singing the " Horst-Wessel-Lied" and national anthem, and in non-military encounters both within and outside the Wehrmacht (for example, when greeting members of the civilian government). At all other times they were permitted to use their traditional salutes. [66] However, according to (pre-Nazi) Reichswehr and Wehrmacht protocol, the traditional military salute was prohibited when the saluting soldier was not wearing a uniform headgear (helmet or cap). Because of this, all bareheaded salutes used the Nazi salute, making it de facto mandatory in most situations. [67]

Kershaw, Ian (2001). The "Hitler Myth": Image and Reality in the Third Reich (2, reissueed.). London: Oxford University Press. ISBN 9780192802064. On the night of 3 January 1942, Hitler stated the following about the compromise edict of 1933: [40] Dan Espinoza is the first soul to be given special treatment. No torture and even being allowed to party with the Demons. This statement takes nothing away from the gravity of the evil, selfish and disgusting acts Adolf Hitler and others committed throughout their lifetimes. On February 1, 2022, one of the pupils from Charles H. Best Middle School in North York, a district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, performed a Nazi salute to a Jewish student while another who allegedly built a swastika, which led the Toronto District School Board to launch an investigation, and condemnation by the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Last year, at New York’s Museum of the Moving Image, comedy writer Geoff Atkinson was interviewed as part of its No Joke: Absurd Comedy as Political Reality series. Atkinson – who has spent his career writing for some of British TV’s most celebrated comedy shows, from the Two Ronnies to Spitting Image and Bremner, Bird and Fortune – was there to discuss just one production: a pilot for a sitcom that was broadcast, once, on an obscure British satellite channel, 30 years ago. Once again, this can possibly be attributed to a gap in Thai education. (Similarly, many Westerners, including celebrities like ex-UFC champion Georges St. Pierre, are often unaware that many Asians are offended by the Japanese Rising Sun symbol.) However, things get a little more disturbing when you watch a 2014 propaganda video promoted by Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha. Meant to promote core Thai values, the movie includes a scene where the main character, a young student, is praised for painting a portrait of Hitler. Surely, Thai officials know about the Holocaust, which makes it all the more unsettling. In March 2019, students from Newport Beach, California, attending a private party made a swastika from red-and-white plastic party cups and gave Nazi salutes over it. Some of the students may have been from Newport Harbor High School of Newport-Mesa Unified School District, a very large district that encompasses 58 square miles and includes the cities of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. Officials from the district condemned the students' behavior and said they were working with law enforcement to collect information on the incident. [111]

On 16 March 2013, Greek footballer Giorgos Katidis of AEK Athens F.C. was handed a life ban from the Greek national team for performing the salute after scoring a goal against Veria F.C. in Athens' Olympic Stadium. [92]if the hypothesis were offered us of a world in which ... millions [should be] kept permanently happy on the one simple condition that a certain lost soul on the far-off edge of things should lead a life of lonely torture, what except a sceptical and independent sort of emotion can it be which would make us immediately feel, even though an impulse arose within us to clutch at the happiness so offered, how hideous a thing would be its enjoyment when deliberately accepted as the fruit of such a bargain?” — William James

Charlotte Richards, a very well-known defense attorney is murdered by a fellow lawyer and goes to Hell because she feels guilty for helping several criminals escape from prison. However, when Goddess leaves her body, Charlotte's soul is immediately transported from the Hell from which she escapes, to her body on Santa Monica’s beach.a b Ullrich, Volker (2020).
