As much as Joe might seem to be treading over well-worn territory and the ending of this particular installment was not the scintillating cliff hanger I was hoping for (leaving me VERY curious if we are going to hear more from Joe...and if the answer is no, color me crushed!) I can always take solace in the fact that like it or not, I now know that I am a Goodreads Girl through and through...and there's nothing wrong with that.

You season 3 ended with Joe killing Victoria Pedretti's Love, setting the house of fire with her in it, and then moving to Paris.When we finally do get to the ending, it's more like a wimper than a bang. So where does that leave me now? Honestly? I don't know. Should there be, I'm not sure I'll continue the (book) series. Although ... if the book series mirrors the show, there will be only one more and I AM a completionist (sometimes). *lol* Season 3= Acting is FANTASTIC! I know, I know, a huge departure from the books but let's see the direction it goes in. Oh, gosh, LOVE IS insane! I am glad to see Scott Speedman again. I always feel bad that I was TEAM Noel. But he is great at this next-door neighbor role. But I am REALLY bored, like, I don't want to watch this television show anymore. But my momma didn't raise a quitter! No turn signals and no regard for life." The final act of You Love Me sees Joe recover from his wounds and marry the latest object of his desires, Mary Kay. Following the suicide of Mary's husband, Joe is free to pursue Mary, who inevitably falls for his charm and overt attentions. You Love Me seems to be heading for a picturebook ending, with Joe and Mary hastily tying the knot before disaster befalls the couple. Her teenage daughter kills Mary Kay in a heated argument, during which she is pushed down the stairs and falls to her death. To compound matters, Joe is then informed that his marriage to Mary Kay is not legitimate at the end of the book as they had not booked an officiant for their wedding. This ending is still very much on the updated cards for You season 4, with another disastrous end to a relationship a fitting way to round off Netflix's latest inevitably tumultuous You installment.
Search for Wally in these four classic Where's Wally books. Plus! Four amazing activity books for puzzling and colouring fun! WOW!There is also a nice array of cultural references, especially to books and movies / shows (which I enjoyed a lot) and Joe's social criticism was nice again. However, it wasn't as snappy as in the other 3 books.
As series go on- they can get stale. If you told me I would be on the fourth book of series about a serial killer obsessed with finding love and using that as justification to murder - one whom I’m secretly rooting for - I wouldn’t believe it. But here I am still so engrossed in this series. I am captivated with the way Caroline keeps coming up with new and unique ways to keep Joe’s endless search for love fresh. Being from a stalker/ murderer’s perspective - she does a brilliant job of making you feel like he genuinely doesn’t think he is the bad guy. He is just doing what is right. That’s what allows you to weirdly root for him even though he is essentially evil. Also, the way he reads people like he reads books is brilliant! I liked the idea of Sarah Beth knowing about Joe’s past for about a chapter. Then when I realized she wasn't going to do anything with the info except use it for book inspo, I was like W H A T? Yes, it's established she's a psychopath, but really? She's not going to turn him in??? By the end of the book, I’m like if he doesn’t kill her… Thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for access to this title.
