New this year, the Nano X3s feature a Lift And Run (L.A.R.) Chassis in the midsole. According to a press release from Reebok, this is a “new midsole technology built for stability when lifting and added cushioning for running and jumping.” The Flexweave upper allows for breathability yet a good hold in the toebox. The heel cup grabs your Achilles and you know a good shoe is on your foot. For the first workout, it was leg day. The Reebok Nano X3 performs well for a wide range of activities making them a good “all-in-one” style shoe.The x3 is known for its capabilities in the CrossFit world, but now with the heel pod and heel cup, it can be used for powerlifting and short snappy runs as well with ease. I wouldnt reccomend them for dance classes like ballet but they could probably work for simple zumba. They flex with your foot but not to the extent of standing on the toe and are a bit heavy to really spin in.

Either way, I think the chassis system is a good chance and if you like shoe tech, then I think you’ll also appreciate this feature. I also enjoy the ankle support that comes with the chassis’ TPU wrap. 4. Hey! I’d also pass on the X3s then. They’ll feel different, but they still have an arch so in your context I think they’ll still be a miss. The Nano X3s have an updated tread pattern on the rubber outsole. The change intends to create superior traction and stability across movements. The ROPEPRO+ rope guard has also been enhanced to minimize damage to vulnerable parts of the upper and outsole. Heel Thanks for such a detailed review! I have the nano X and found them like little ovens on my feet (they’d get SO hot) and quite heavy and clunky for any running based activity (even over 200m or so). How do you think the X3 compares in these regards? In the Reebok Nano X2, the name of the game was to go down a half size for most foot anatomies sans wide feet, however, I don’t think that’s going to be the case in the Reebok Nano X3.

The Reebok Nano X3 will work best for athletes and lifters who like to blend multiple workout modalities together on a weekly basis. For example, the Nano X3 was stable enough for 500 lbs deadlifts, but also responsive enough for fast 800-1,600-meter runs which can make it a viable option for things like HYROX. The Nano X3’s Flexweave upper hugs the foot a little tighter and it gives this model a truer fit, so if you often felt like you were swimming in the Nano X2 then you should be in the camp that enjoys this change.
