The Resolva Path and Patio Weedkiller is probably best reserved for people who just need to handle a few small areas around the house and is definitely not intended for larger areas or persistent problems. However, as a lighter formula, this weedkiller is an inexpensive option that can fit anyone’s budget.

The five litre version of this weed killer comes in a large container with a pump action handle on top and an attachable spray wand. Thirty pumps of the handle will get you somewhere around 10 minutes of continuous spraying, and the twist nozzle lets you choose between a concentrated blast or a wider and finer spray. Ideal for gravel paths, drives, patios, along fences and walls and around established trees and shrubs. Although even with 12 sachets included, the Deadfast Weed Killer only mixes for a total of 1 ⅕ L if you want to use it as a spray weedkiller. Still, even with such a small amount of water compared to other formulas, this weedkiller offers solid coverage at 60 m2 per sachet for a total coverage of 720 m2.this used to be a great product but i was told by company that the new improved mix was even better than the last and would last longer.(but will take longer to work) If you aren't blessed with beautiful flowers in your garden and there's nothing that you need to preserve, opt for a non-selective weed killer. This type of product makes light work of completely clearing the area of all weeds. The use of bleach or salt to kill weeds on paths and drives is strongly discouraged, as this can cause pollution and damage plants. Weedkil’s child and pet friendly formula is probably the most environmentally friendly of all the products we reviewed.

This product arrives ready to use in its own spray bottle removing the need to mix and measure, however the bottle only contains 1 litre of pet friendly weed killer, so you’ll probably need more than one to finish anything over 35 square metres. Weedol's "Rootkill Plus" formula is easy to apply, thanks to the spray-nozzle bottle, and the systemic formula is ideal for getting rid of tough perennials. Bear in mind that this product is only suitable to use from April to November though.To make sure that the Weedol Pathclear is especially effective, its formula also adds 20 g/l of diflufenican to take care of foliage that glyphosate misses. One thing to consider is that this weedkiller does not cover a large area per tube despite the powerful, concentrated formula.
