Mamia | ALDI

In addition to being an absolute bargain, they also include the must-have wetness indicator, a soft-cord protection feature, breathable material, and a fantastic size guide on the nappy which shows you when you need to go up a size. We're pretty sure your baby will love the extra feeling of dryness. And as we all know, a happy baby means a happy parent! I’ve tried every brand and the best ones for us has been Lidl’s own, Lupilu, in size 4+. The absorbency has been great and we’ve yet to experience a leak.”

Why parents love Mamia nappies

I recently changed from Pampers Premium to Pampers Baby Dry and they are excellent. My baby sleeps 10-12 hours with no leaks. I think they are great value for money because they are always on offer in the supermarkets.” I use Fred and Flo by Tesco. I think they're great at absorbing wee. My baby sleeps 11 hours at night and her skin is still dry in the morning. The price is great too!" Fred and Flo by Tesco are a super soft, well-fitting, and absorbent nappy. They’re also one of the lowest prices on the market, so definitely value for money. The designs are lovely and the Fred and Flo range offer a selection of good quality baby items, making purchasing in bulk more convenient and better value.”

Aldi Mamia New Born Nappies - Disposable nappies - Nappies

My little one has used the aldi nappies since he was born, they are fab. We very rarely have leaks, they are good value for money, they have nice patterns on and a wetness indicator. I would never buy anything else' To date, they offer a selection of nappy options, from Baby Dry and Active Fit (which each have a nappy pant version) to a swimmers’ range called Pampers Splashers, and of course newborn nappies in size 1. Mamia nappies have been the best for my ds. We have tried most of the well known brands, and found that mamia rarely leak.' Along with special features to accommodate comfort, fit and dryness, most Pampers nappies also include a wetness indicator, which changes from yellow to blue when it detects liquid. This feature is available all the way up to size 6.Our go-to nappies are Mamia from Aldi. They’re cheap and they don’t smell when they are full of wee, which I’ve found other nappies tend to do. They don’t leave my baby with a sore bottom - and I’ve been using since birth! If your baby suffers from leakage, it’s time to go up a size. They’re absolutely amazing value for money. I’m now onto nappy pants and they are fab too! I highly recommend them.” BabyCentre parents love that Rascal + Friends don’t have the chemical smell some nappies have, yet they’re still just as absorbent. In addition to their premium range, they also have a range of nappy pants. Aldi and Lidl also fill their shelves with almost matching nappy sizes, but despite the similarities one of the brands does much better than the other in our tests. Reusable nappies have come a long way since terry squares. Poppers, velcro or plastic clips are used instead of pins and they often come as a one-size nappy which will fit for several years. There are a range of colourful and cool designs from brands available too. Reusable nappies are also chemical-free and, long-term, work out cheaper than disposables.

Never had a leak, great value and always available in my local store. My little one is now 16 months and I’ve tried so many different brands. This is the only one that we’ve had no leaks at night with (which was the main issue)! The nappy pant version is also great for daytime.” We go with Aldi nappies every time! I used them from newborn to size 6+ with my son, and am now using them again with my daughter. They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.”

Many start with trial and error, but knowing what you’re looking for, and getting advice from other parents can really help when you make your decision. Find out more about Mamia newborn nappies, available exclusively at Aldi. How do I sign up to sample Mamia Size 1 newborn nappies? Although convenient and absorbent, disposables have their downsides. Most of them contain bleaching agents, dyes, latex, and other plastics. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain. In many cases, swapping to a different brand will help avoid this issue.
