When Gorka is away working or on tour, it has made me more resilient. I've always been extremely independent and Gorka is too, and I think that bodes extremely well for our relationship because I think if either of us was extremely needy, it'd be a nightmare because whenever we were away working, we would always be torn between our work and our family. We're in this amazing place whereby we enjoy our jobs and it makes the time we have together even more special if we've had a week or so apart.
She has two! Gemma and Gorka welcomed their first child in 2019. She announced the news that they were expecting for the first time in February 2019 with her dogs Norman and Ollie getting involved in the announcement. Before working at Viking FM Gemma Atkinson appeared on a number of TV shows, both as a celebrity and as an actress. Gemma also hinted at other content in the book. Gemma is engaged to her partner Gorka Marquez, who is a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing.Gorka later revealed in another interview on the show: "Thanks to the Strictly tour, I got the chance to spend more time with her and get to know each other better. We are very happy." When did Gemma and Gorka get engaged? Before working at Hits Radio Gemma Atkinson appeared on a number of TV shows, both as a celebrity and as an actress. Gemma Atkinson met her fiancé Gorka Marquez on Strictly Come Dancing, when she was a contestant and he was a professional dancer. Despite not being paired together on the show, the couple immediately hit it off, with Gemma and Gorka later announcing their relationship. I probably could have done it sooner but I didn't choose to do anything for about 16 weeks. It was the hottest summer we'd had in a long time and I just loved being at home in the garden. The one thing I did focus on straight away was my nutrition, because I knew that eating well and making good choices was going to give me more energy and put me in a better place to deal with being a mum. As well as her TV appearances, Gemma has also acted in a number of films including Baseline in 2009, How to Stop Being a Loser in 2011 and Fever in 2016.
