About this deal

A novel full of events, facts and information to me can be learned and heard very well, the first time I read the writer Dan Brown and frankly a good but great writer. Dan Brown wrote many other action novels. I have read all of them and this novel is just as good of a read as the rest. This novel is written in the same style as all the others. Leaving in the suspense in all his books, Dan Brown makes all his novels an exiting read. Complaining that Brown can’t write is like complaining that crisps are crunchy. And you know what? It doesn’t really matter at all. The book is fun in its galumphing way,” the paper says.

Deception Point by Dan Brown [A Review] – We Need to Talk Deception Point by Dan Brown [A Review] – We Need to Talk

At the peak of Dan Brown’s popularity, Deception Point was probably the novel of his that intrigued me the most, even more than The Da Vinci Code. However, while it is not the worst pop-fiction you will read, it is certainly not among the best. There's a reason why everyone talks about The DaVinci Code and not about this book. I have no idea what that reason would be, because I thought Angels & Demons was mediocre so I never bothered to read the The DaVinci Code. Anyway, I was bored and a copy of this was sitting at the library for a quarter and I thought "WTF, mate, I'll give it a go." The italics are not mine by the way, they are in the text. Neither are the italicised pieces of dialogue, rather they are the characters thoughts. Brown’s intention in the repetition is probably to add emphasis but it just makes the reader feel like the author is assuming they are too slow to follow the obvious in his text. The character comes off a little dim as well. Mr. Brown is an amazing story teller. In his books he combines actual historical incidents, historical institutions, secret societies that were and are in operation, secret government institution, agencies etc., with outstanding plot lines which give the stories an air of genuineness. I have officially read every Dan Brown book and I am begging for more. I did not find Deception Point as good as Dan Brown's other novels, but it was still an instant classic that kept me on my toes.I think that a proof of how good is this book (at least to me) is that it's a real dark story, full of dangers and deceptions (it's on the title!) related to NASA and since I admire the institution but the story is presented in such smart and plausible way that I could embrace the tale with open mind, understanding the intended bottom line in the book. Since after all, one thing is any organization and its inspiring goals, and other the people which manage it, that after all, they are just human beings. Wild Symphony is now available! #1 New York Times bestselling author Dan Brown makes his picture book debut with this mindful, humorous, musical, and uniquely entertaining book! The editor of Dan Brown was surfing at the time on the success of The Da Vinci Code by proposing this novel already ghastly. Deception point is a novel published in the United States before The Da Vinci Code. In addition, the director of Cern soon learns that a canister filled with a type of matter that has the destructive power equal to a nuclear bomb has been stolen from Cern and hidden somewhere in the Holy See.

This book is written in way that if you are fan of Michael Crichton books, you will like this one too. It has a narrative style so engaging that I enjoyed a lot the reading experience. With help from a French cryptographer, Sophie Neveau, who takes his side, he manages to escape and together they embark on a quest to find the real killer. Is it just me or does this read like Dan Brown was typing this with one hand? Why does Mr. Stud have the same initials as the author? Why would anyone want a sharp green wit? And is 'fruit shake' some sort of code for a handy? Is that why he is still dripping? President Bill Clinton, in a press conference following a discovery known as ALH84001 on August 7 th, 1996. Dan Brown is the author of numerous #1 bestselling novels, including The Da Vinci Code, which has become one of the best selling novels of all time as well as the subject of intellectual debate among readers and scholars. However, I felt that although there were a female and a male protagonist, the other characters were also equally strong and because of that the strength attached to the main characters were quite diminished. And also the NASA finding and its deception and the political maneuvering described in the book although was meant as part of the story, I felt the political maneuvering part as a sub plot to the main story line which kind of hindered the smooth flow of the main story. But these minor blemishes did not stop me from enjoying this enthralling tale. I was given Digital Fortress as a birthday present at the height of the Brown buzz and read it not long after. Although I did not find it as entertaining as The Da Vinci Code, I found it better written. It is a shorter novel and has perhaps been edited better. As a stand-alone Dan Brown book this one was interesting and did hold its own against Robert Langdon and his never ending series. 3.5 stars rounded down.

The team was blown away by this pilot and its enormous potential to become a big, binge-worthy hit" said Susan Rovner, Chairman, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. Authentication team: During the story, NASA invites five external experts to help authenticate the meteorite finding as secondary sources: It's about NASA's discovery of a meteorite in the Arctic ice which seems to contain evidence of extraterrestrial life. This would be a huge success for NASA after years of failure. This was read at the tail-end of my brief Dan Brown phase (let he who has never enjoyed an airport-bookstore novel cast the first stone), and by this point I was getting a little tired of Brown's storytelling formula. And by "formula", I really mean "formula". Here it is: It´s very funny that the infamous „I don´t care about technical accuracy, have no interest in research, and don´t ask experts to proofread“ mentality is already big in this one, Brown just doesn´t care, the cryptography and tech are hilariously facepalmy. In this case, it´s even more extreme, as it are not just some elements as in the other novels, but the whole plot revolving around topics Brown obviously has no knowledge about, making it unwittingly comedic.
