About this deal

I ended this series with tears in my eyes. Happy ones, for a change. There’s never been a fantasy series where I could think of a more perfect ending than this one. There were plenty of loose ends but they were stories waiting to be finished rather than sloppy writing. I know that the last of my favorite characters will find happiness (though I would LOVE to read another novella(s) on it).

Whist I enjoyed A Court of Thorns and Roses, it’s not one of my all-time favourite fantasy series. It’s good to pass the time, it keeps you entertained, and it is enjoyable, but it will never earn a spot in my top ten fantasy reads. I enjoyed a lot about the series, but there are also a number of things that I wasn’t crazy about – such as the romance (in particular I’m not a fan of the – what is intended to be – ‘steamy’ scenes), I wasn’t crazy about the pacing at some points in the story, and I wasn’t content with the way some of the individual storylines played out by the end of the Feyre and Rhys arc. Weird toxic masculinity things were never truly called out or dealt with... or sometimes joked about in the “boys will be boys” way that’s a bit cringe. Ancora tanti sbagli, tanta amarezza, dolore e sofferenza, che la portano sull'orlo del baratro. Vivere o morire? Vivere per chi? this opinion of those characters didn't change. but in addition i found rhys was cool and promising. I'd known he would be someone vital to this story. i (HAD) loved his character, i had known he hid his things himself for whatever purpose that he might seen as his priority (read: his family, his court). i had known he was the "anti hero" or that grey character everyone would fall in love with his complexities. Book 2: 5/5 ⭐️ one of THE best in the series by far. What a twist of love that I didn’t see coming!!Book 1: half is setting up love story between tamlin and feyre, half is the trials at under the mountain. The entire book is a prologue for the series essentially. The love between tamlin and feyre is weak and shallow, but is important as a contrast to the romance between feyre and rhys. King of Hybern: Amarantha's "boss," wages a war to overthrow the High Lords and take over the mortal lands

I listened to the audiobook; this was produced by Recorded Books and it was okay. The narrator wasn’t one I’d set out to list We get a glimpse of her true self after the Suriel spills the tea, when she (with Helion's power and the Suriel's knowledge) helps Rhys start healing but treats him like he was nothing, leaving him literally in the mud, although he had just been tortured, almost died, and was far from healing, because he kept 'things' from her.I would say this is a definite 5 star read. Maybe not one I would re-read but it took me on an amazing journey nonetheless. I will definitely be trying out other series by the author! La traduzione del Drago è stata rinnovata, riuscendo a fare un lavoro eccellente rispetto ai singoli volumi in commercio che come sappiamo, hanno fatto parlare (in male) per la traduzione. Cons: A few of the characters are pretty unlikeable (and not the ones that are supposed to be). One in particular is not only so bafflingly obnoxious, but the way other characters respond to her defies credulity. Finally, even though the characters are not adolescents, some of their behavior and dialogue is very juvenile (which may not be a problem for younger readers?) Approvo.

Fiercely romantic, irresistibly sexy and hypnotically magical. A veritable feast for the senses.””— USA Today on A COURT OF MIST AND FURY There seems to be no line, not even a blurred one, between self-love talk and outright narcissism – the constant self-love talks Feyre gives herself are actually just the inner talks of an incredibly narcissistic person.

Feyre, the provider for her family, has spent her life fearing the Fae on the other side of the wall. She has heard the gruesome stories but when faced with a decision that could feed her family she takes it. That decision brings on the full force of the Fae when Tamlin takes her in retribution for killing one of his own. But Tamlin is not exactly what Feyre is expecting and neither is the world she now finds herself in. Persephone". World History Encyclopedia. Archived from the original on 2021-04-14 . No one but him would ever understand. “It’s beautiful,” he said, voice still hoarse. I blinked away the tears that threatened at those words and leaned into the kiss he pressed to my mouth.
