About this deal

Corry does a great job of infusing a steamy clean romance with heartfelt sincerity and regret with this original story. These characters have gone through all the emotions and drag the reader along for the ride too and I appreciated that although cheating is at the center of all the trauma/drama, real remorse is felt and applied. This is one story that was really easy to settle into and enjoy. She is in a huge conundrum as she knows that if they were to act on their feelings, their friendship could change forever. They finally decide to take the plunge for love and finally they get to know each other on a whole new level. I’d certainly tried to. But it seemed like no amount of apologizing or groveling could ever be enough after what I’d done to her.

I also liked Elyse from the beginning. She was driven but she was also the quiet twin. I actually don't usually like these kinds of characters, but there was something different about her. She was full of life and her little quirks were funny. I liked her overactive imagination, she was just so relatable. It was sweet how she went out of her way to get to know Asher and how she became his friend first. Their romance was sweet. Elyse had to learn to step out in faith and not just settle. Not gonna lie - this just pulled me out of my reading funk. Don’t know if I would’ve liked this had it not been for the need to just feel something after the irrevocably sad book I read before that? So cute and no major drama. So they finally get together and all is lovey dovey when author decides to throw another 💩 in case all of it so far wasn’t enough. You see, the dipshit now finds out that the woman he cheated with had his baby. A beautiful baby girl that’s she didn’t tell him of but because she is now dead, the baby is now his to raise…. I've written several books now, and while all of them are pieces of my heart put in print, Emerson and Vincent's story was definitely one of my babies. I've had their story in my head for several years, so finally having it in book form is amazing, and sharing it with you wonderful readers is even better.

AHHHHHH!!! I freakin LOVE Asher!! Once I read the epilogue in The Facade I knew Asher was my man! He's everything!Elyse is excited to be the lead in her school’s winter play (Phantom of the Opera), especially since the boy she’s crushing on will be playing one of the characters vying for her character’s heart. But that excitement dwindles when she learns that the other character vying for hers will be played by none other than Asher, the bad-boy who is rumored to have a hand in his ex-girlfriend’s disappearance last year. That is, until Elyse spends more time with Asher and sees that there’s more to him than just the rumors. Corry never realized that she wanted to write until she was 26 and a mother taking care of three kids. During this time, she was reading a lot of books as she had been a rabid consumer of books for several years then. However, writing was a brand new thing for her. This was absolute PERFECTION. I knew this was gonna be amazing considering how good the first two books were. Judy DELIVERED. And those kisses did not disappoint! I don’t know of any other author who can make me feel so much. Which is why she is my favorite.
