SpinFit told me that the silicone in this case is “edible grade”, so even though it’s probably best to not put these over your pasta you probably won’t have any allergic or otherwise adverse reactions to it. SpinFit W1 SpinFit have adopted a simple yet elegant underpinning their ear tip design. There is an ergonomic concave design at the core which allows the ear tip to swivel. While conventional ear tips do not always direct the sound to the eardrum, SpinFit aim to maximize this with their patented 3D axis.
The SpinFit CP100+ (or CP100 Plus) are the exact same as the CP100 in terms of size, but they are made with a different material. They keep the same diameter of 4 mm and the same variety of sizes (SS, S, M, L, XL), but they are made of medical-grade silicone and feature more subdued colours and a more transparent dome. They’re quite comfortable and in fact I find them to be slightly more comfortable than the CP100, because they fit more snugly in my ears. They’re the closest equivalent I have found among silicone tips to the sensation foam eartips give me: that my ear canal is sealed by something that fits snugly in it while respecting its shape and boundaries. In other words, it doesn’t feel like something that gets inside my ears while trying to impose its presence, asking my ear canal to adapt to it, but it feels like something that fits in the canal trying to take the space in there and nothing more. It’s a weird sensation that’s very difficult to describe, but I hope I somehow gave you an idea. A set of large spinfit's have completely turned this experience around, visceral bass feels improved a bit and they're a tad brighter with disappear-in-your-ears comfort. Let’s look at the different SpinFit models, and compare how they fit on a selection of IEMs. Note that the sizing within each model (Small, Medium, Large) only affects the width of the flange and how that fits your ear, and does not affect the size of the bore or how well they will fit on different IEMs. CP100/CP100+Customers are to bear the consequences and fees incurred, if the parcel was undelivered due to any of the following situation: The CP240 is a double flange eartip. Double flange eartips are useful for listeners who have larger ear canals and have a hard time getting a good seal. They can also provide improved isolation in general. On the CP240, the SpinFit pivot comes in between the first and second flange, to provide flexibility at the top for the second flange. The CP145 is just a hair larger than the CP100 at 4.5mm, and is otherwise nearly identical. If you primarily use IEMs with larger eartips but want some flexibility to use them with smaller nozzles, the CP145 will still fit securely on most models while being more accommodating of the wider nozzled IEMs. While the CP100 fits on the Empire Ears line of IEMs, it generally is a little tough to get on, while the CP155 and CP500 don’t provide a snug fit. The CP145 came in just in between with a perfect fit. CP155 and CP500 The basic idea underlying every SpinFit eartip model is the following: traditional eartips have a straight solid core at their centre which stays so independently of the actual shape of the ear, but it would be better if the core could bend and follow the curves of the ear canal. This is what happens with the SpinFit tips: there is a point in which the silicone is thinner and therefore softer and it’s shaped like a doughnut, so that it can bend and provide better comfort. Comfort on these is A+, they completely disappear in my ears and the earbuds sit in the perfect spot as to not put pressure on my ears but also not wobble when you move.
The SpinFit CP100 works across a range of in-ear monitors including but not limited to: the 64 Audio Tia Fourte, 64 Audio Tia U18 as well as InEar’s ProMission X and Campfire Audio’s Andromeda 2020. In general, they offer improved levels of transparency and a linear neutrality compared to other silicone tips. However, their crisp nature does mean that they are a bit leaner when evaluating note size. Thus, they may not be the best choice for already thin and exacting IEMs. As a last bit, the silicone is actually medical grade, so the added benefit is you shouldn’t have issues with allergies and other adverse reactions. SpinFit CP500 It is impressive the quality of refinement the SpinFit tips are able to extract from the top-end. This is likely owing to its ability to create an effective seal and direct frequencies straight towards the eardrum. Synergy & Pairing The main differences with the CP360 are the height and the radius: the CP1025 are shorter and slightly narrower (12 x 6.7 mm vs 13 x 8.5 mm), so they don’t go all the way inside the ear canal but manage to seal it effectively thanks to their wide radius. This also means that they fit most charging cases better, as they are shorter. The SpinFit CP100 are the basic model, which by shape and feel most closely resemble “standard” eartips. They are conical (a wide ogive, to be exact) and offer a diameter of 4 mm which fits most earphones (including the Campfire Audio Vega 2020 and Dorado 2020, the Thieaudio Legacy 4, the Tin HiFi T2), but which is also a bit tight for earphones with larger nozzles. Still, they’re the ones that will probably fit the larger number of earphones, as they do just fine even with those that have a smaller nozzle like the Legacy 4. They come in 5 different sizes: SS (XS would have probably been better), S, M, L and XL.
The CP240 has a wide bore and fits comfortably on larger nozzles, but it also comes with a selection of adapters that allow it to fit snugly on smaller nozzles as well. CP360 and CP1025
