About this deal

Other connectivity on the SoundPEATS Air3 is solid, too. The Bluetooth connection keeps a stable signal up to 9-10 meters away from your device, including in areas full of wireless signals. The SoundPEATS Air3, TrueAir2, and TrueAir2+ have lots in common. They look and feel the same, even though the Air3 is around 4 millimeters shorter and the case is more compact. Both products have the same 4,5 hours battery life, but the case of the TrueAir2 can recharge the earbuds 4 instead of 2 times more before needing new power. The Air3 handles especially indoor and video calls better than its predecessor, and its low-latency mode makes it more suitable for playing games. The TrueAir 2+ is the only model to support wireless charging.

SOUNDPEATS TrueAir 2 มีให้เลือก 2 สีโดนใจ ได้แก่ สีดำ และ สีขาว ชอบแบบไหนเลือกได้ตามสไตล์คุณเลยครับ If you listen to modern and electronic genres mostly, the added lows of the TrueAir2 will work better for you; if you prefer listening to acoustic and older genres, the Fiil CC2 may be your top choice. The Haylou GT6 has a more articulated sound than the SoundPEATS Air3 and its predecessor. It has a tighter mid-bass, deeper sub-bass, and vocals and upper-mids are more pronounced. However, to achieve this, you need a very tight and secure fit with the GT6 - you may even need to press them in your ears so strongly it doesn't feel comfortable anymore. Without the perfect fit, the GT6 drops its bass, and highs feel a tad too sharp. It's easier to get a good sound out of the Air3; its warm sound comes hassle-free. The Haylou beats the SoundPEATS on battery life; the Air 3 has better comfort, video call quality, and smaller stems.

The SoundPEATS TrueAir 2 and TrueAir2+ perform well where it counts most. It has a pleasant and warm sound. I have literally no complaints. When they finally completely break (if ever) or die out, I'm definitely buying another pair from SOUNDPEATS again, though probably a newer model :) Sound-wise, the TrueAir2, TrueAir2+, and Air3 are around 90% the same. They share the same warm character with steady mid-bass, boosted lower mid-tones and vocals that become more prominent on higher listening volumes. However, the TrueAir 2 (Plus) does sound more open and balanced, as it puts vocals slightly more forward and extends upper-mids and highs more. The Air3 boosts mid-bass and lower-mids further, providing more warmth to the sound, and sounding more detailed in these lower areas. Both sound excellent for half-in-ears, but for more vocal genres, the TrueAir2 (Plus) may still have a tiny edge.

The SoundPEATS TrueAir2 raised the bar for the sound quality on AirPods-like earbuds, and the Air3 continues down the same path - yet there are some differences. Below this SoundPEATS TrueAir 2 review, you will find comparisons between the SoundPEATS TrueAir2 vs Fiil CC2, TaoTronics SoundLiberty 92, Xiaomi Mi Air 2 SE, 1more E1029BT, and Tronsmart Onyx Ace. Like the TrueAir2 (Plus), the Air 3 has plenty of punch in the lower frequencies. Even though these are half-in-ears, which don't go far into your ear canals, there's enough body and depth in the bass. There's a steady mid-bass thump, and even though the sub-bass (the deepest darkest tones you feel as much as hear) can't really rumble, the bass sounds surprisingly deep. Bass slams are stronger than on the TrueAir 2, yet unfortunately, they can distort a little on songs that boost the bass out of themselves - an aspect the TrueAir2 controls better. Bluetooth 5.2 and the aptX-adaptive codec are both present, which I doubt took much work since the chipset is the same as the TA2. Some minor tweaks that earn half a mark extra. Firstly, the case is still more or less the same size. The height is around 0.5mm more, and it weighs around 4g more at 37.5g, but kudos to SoundPEATS for managing to squeeze QI in there without a drastic redesign. The screen printed specifics have been removed, and it looks a little tidier as a result. The Air3 can go plenty loud, and it's around 60% of the playing volume the higher frequencies and details increase. Don't expect the widest soundstage or precise instrument positioning, but music does feel around you with a fair amount of detail and decent separation between instruments and layers. Surprisingly, the TrueAir2 (Plus) doesn't promote vocals to be the most important aspect of the sound. Where higher-pitched voices are strongly emphasized on most earbuds, vocals are a tad recessed on these SoundPEATS. Sometimes, lower vocals hardly seem louder than instruments around it. Higher-pitched male and female vocals are also somewhat toned down, but in a pleasant way. They play the main part in the music, but stay far away from harsh, bright territory. Vocals can miss a bit of detail as a result, but there's a lovely smooth-sailing vibe to them as well.

I then took the earbuds outside. The receiver didn't even hear some of the cars going past. Eventually some noises did inevitably filter through, and your voice is elevated and thins out a bit. It also dips from time to time, but is still distinguishable. The TrueAir2+ are no different to the TA2, with latency improved slightly with the addition of the aptX-adaptive codec for android users. Both the earbuds and the Xiaomi Mi Air 2 SE charging case are noticeably larger than the TrueAir 2's. The Xiaomi has slightly stronger connectivity than the TrueAir2, and the same battery life - but the TrueAir2 wins on outside calling. When it comes to music, however, SoundPEATS has the advantage. It sounds more open, has more detail in the bass and lower-mids, and while higher-pitched vocals don't have the same emphasis, they sound smoother - making the overall sound of the TrueAir2 just more pleasant.FIVE STARS - The SoundPEATS Air3 is a logical successor to the highly recommended SoundPEATS TrueAir2+. It's more compact, adds a gaming mode, and has noticeably better call quality - easily making it one of the best cheap AirPods-alternatives.

The SoundLiberty 92 from TaoTronics has a similar sound to the TrueAir 2. Darker vocals sound even more recessed on the TaoTronics, while brighter (female) vocals enjoy a more prominent role. The TrueAir 2 sounds a bit more natural, with better tonality of mid-instruments and more details on your left and right; the SoundLiberty 92 is a bit more engaging due to the forward vocals and increased space in the higher frequencies. The TrueAir2 has better call quality in outdoor areas, where the SoundLiberty 92 prevails surrounding noise above your own voice. The TrueAir 2 has a slightly flatter case, too, and the stems are shorter and thus more elegant.

Next to the bass, lower-mids (like darker electronic tones and drums) are slightly boosted, adding to the 'flow' in modern music and coloring the music warm. Mid-instruments like guitars and the piano also have warm underlining while still presented well enough in the brighter tones. The TrueAir2 has some nice spaciousness in the sound, with sound effects and instruments coming from your left and right, while vocals remain in the center of the sound. Calling with the Air3 is an improvement over the TrueAir2. Your voice sounds warm and full in phone calls and video calls like Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, yet with enough clarity. Both indoors and outside, surrounding noises barely come through in calls. People chatter, claps, and accelerating scooters, are all reduced well. However: the processing of those sounds can drag away your voice into muddiness and inaudibility. The case adds an additional 3 charges. Perfectly adequate for this form factor, and average by market standards:
