We've finally been treated to the four-minute(!) long trailer for Fast X and while there's not quite a surprise on par with Han's return in F9's first trailer, it did reveal a surprising detail when it comes to Jason Momoa's flamboyant villain Dante. Even though Fast & Furious 11 hasn't been written yet, the events of Fast X were written with knowledge of where all this will end, so even though it doesn't feel conclusive, it will all come together.

Even though we know it's coming, Fast & Furious 11 hasn't started filming, so there's no footage to show you yet. Expect to have to wait until at least 2024 to see anything. Vin Diesel confirmed in early June 2023 that the follow-up to Fast X will be arriving in cinemas in April 2025. But it won't be the next Fast & Furious movie we see as Dwayne Johnson's Hobbs is getting a solo movie before then.It was the movie that shifted the series into the one fans know and love today, culminating in Dom and Brian driving a vault through the streets of Rio. We never expected then that it'd be viewed as one of the least unbelievable moments in the series.

Diesel previously revealed that he believes the finale will be a fitting and emotional goodbye to Paul Walker's character Brian O’Conner. The major casualty of Fast X was John Cena's Jakob Toretto who sacrifices himself to help Dom save his son. Jakob's car blew up with him in it, but we didn't technically see a body, so in this series, you can never say never. Could the Hobbs movie be part of the trilogy that Diesel was referring to when he said Fast X was actually the start of a trilogy and not a two-parter as originally thought? Or are we getting yet another Fast & Furious movie on top of Part 2 and the Hobbs movie? Over its nine movies to date (excluding spin-off Hobbs & Shaw), the Fast & Furious series has been building an interconnected universe that can sometimes rival the MCU.

Though this wasn't explored in the movie, it could make for an interesting foundation for a sequel, in which Hobbs and Shaw may have to go up against the very governments they work for. Reyes tries to stop them, but it only leads to Dom ramming the vault into Reyes's car. However, it's not Dom who kills Reyes – it's Hobbs, out of vengeance for Reyes slaughtering his entire team earlier in the movie.

Hobbs and Shaw proved itself to be an enjoyable action movie and a solid addition to the Fast and Furious universe. So, where will the frenemies go from here? Given the post-credits scenes, we expected that a sequel would happen and in March 2020, Dwayne Johnson confirmed that the sequel was in development. As mentioned above, the fates of Dom and his son Brian, along with Roman, Tej, Ramsey and Han, are all up in the air. We're confident Dom and Brian will make it out of their predicament, but it's possible one (or more) of the other four might have perished.It's gonna be like, 'Really? What?' Like that! Like, that's how I was in the theatre. I was like, 'Oh my god. What have we done?'." The mystical disembodied voice of the head of Etheon may finally become corporeal, too. Only time will tell. Hobbs and Shaw 2 release date: When can we expect it? What you don't see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast 10. You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology.

You'd be forgiven for not remembering Reyes as he was the main villain of Fast Five (aka Fast & Furious 5) which came out more than a decade ago in 2011. What's interesting is that based on the Fast X trailer, Dante appears to be blaming Dom solely for his father's death. The trailer shows that Dante kidnaps Dom's son Brian at one point, one of his many threats to break Dom's familia. Fast Xduo Vin Diesel and Brie Larson are enjoying a cuddle in the movie's first image showing the Captain Marvel star's franchise debut.Letty and Cipher are stranded in Antarctica, but help has arrived in the form of the previously-dead Gisele who now seems to be going around in a submarine. (Not the one from Fast & Furious 8 as that was destroyed.) Fast X was originally going to be the first of a two-part finale for the Fast Saga, but now it looks like we could be getting a trilogy to close out this series. Could we see a three-hour Fast movie before the end? Let's not rule it out yet. We are developing now the next film, the next [ Hobbs & Shaw] movie, and I'm pretty excited about it," he said.
