About this deal

For the purposes of this coffee machine stand-off we’ve already run a Nespresso Sage Creatista Uno review– and we loved it (spoilers). However, we also like the moer expensive Sage Creatista Plus, and that's what we'll be comparing it to. With its own custom-made jug for milk frothing under the steam arm, The Creatista Plus will auto froth your milk to one of eight micro-foam texture levels and you have a choice of 11 temperature settings from warm to very hot, so every brew will have the perfect finish whether you’ve opted for a flat white or latte macchiato. With so many variations to select, we think you’ll soon be having a go at intricate designs, just like the artistic baristas in upmarket café bars.

Finally, Nespresso thought about energy saving as well. The display dims after two minutes of being idle, and the auto-off function turns the Creatista Plus off after nine minutes of non-use. This helps avoid electrical mishaps and comes in handy if you’re often in a hurry and forget to turn off the coffee machine. Choose Nespresso, do not settle for less: strictly-selected coffee coming in a matchless range of exclusive varieties, coffee machines combining smart design with simple state-of-the-art technology, refined accessories, indulgent sweet treats and services anticipating your every desire. What else? The Pro has the largest HD touchscreen located on top. The touchscreen is intuitive and guides you through drink prep and maintenance. In total, it probably took about 10 to 15 minutes to clean each day.

They each offer automatic features but also allow you to make manual adjustments to suit your preferences. The control panels themselves change quite dramatically between the models (we will look at this in more detail in the “Key Differences” section) but using each machine is very straightforward. Low Maintenance One of the most obvious differences between the three Creatista machines is the control panel. The entry-level Uno has button controls positioned on top of the espresso machine. The buttons are labelled with symbols and there are small indicator lights that let you know which milk temperature and froth setting are selected. This is a sleek and simple system. Having more control over the milk froth also gives you the opportunity to create latte art. With that in mind, if latte art is something you are interested in it’ll be better to go for the Creatista Plus or Pro. 19 Bar Pressure One thing we really loved about this espresso machine is that it heats up in three seconds, which is pretty much unheard of when it comes to espresso machines. It's also energy efficient in that it will minimize power when it’s not in use and turn off automatically after nine minutes. If you love coffee with milk then either one of these appliances will fit the bill. With practice you’ll even be producing your own showy designs in the froth thanks to that great little milk jug.The Nespresso Creatista Pro uses advanced microfoam technology to produce professional-quality milk foam. This makes it possible to create latte art on your coffee drinks and adds a fun creative aspect to making drinks at home. The Creatista Plus can also be used for basic latte art.
