About this deal

Corsair has made a solid and excellent enclosure with the 5000D Airflow. It was easy to see their attention to detail and notice the high build quality. The ventilated panels are sturdy, heavy and internal panels are well secured, and fit evenly. In fact, the entire built case is rather heavy as a result. Klarna Bank AB (publ) is Authorised by the Swedish Financial Services Authority (Finansinspektionen) and is subject to limited regulation by the Financial Conduct Authority. The 5000 series is more of a size increase than a replacement of the 4000 lineup. For comparison, the 4000D AIRFLOW could house up to 6x120mm fans while the 5000D AIRFLOW can fit up to 10x120mm fans. The top three fans can even fit a push-pull configuration with a radiator to maximize the cooling possible. This also allows users to enjoy RGB fan lighting inside and out. Users can fit up to two triple radiators in either the front, top, or side of the case for extreme cooling needs.

Two Included 120mm Fans: CORSAIR AirGuide fans utilize anti-vortex vanes to concentrate airflow and enhance cooling. I just wanted general idea with 3 fan gpu's and really no difference in performance between pcie 3.0 and 4.0 for graphics cards you just change it to pcie 3.0 in the bios Front: 120 mm fan x 1 / 2 x 140 mm fan or 3 x 120 mm fan supported ¦ Top: fan mount / 2 x 140 mm fan or 3 x 120 mm fan supported ¦ Rear: 120 mm fan x 1 ¦ Side: 120 mm fan mount x 3 Thanks probably will give it a miss I know the temps will increase vertically just wanted to know by how much using 3rd party mount and with and without side fans as intake KitGuru says: 5000D AirFlow feels like Corsair's difficult second album after the success of 4000D.Steel, plastic and tinted glass come together very cleanly & precisely to display top notch fit and finish – in that signature Corsair design language way. It is trivial to see the similarities with the previous mid-tower 4000 series. The CORSAIR 5000D AIRFLOW is a mid-tower ATX case that shows off your PC, and not its cables, finished with an airflow-optimized front panel for maximum ventilation to your system. CORSAIR RapidRoute cable management keeps your cables out of sight, but easy to route with 25mm of depth. A wealth of flexible cooling options let you build your PC your way, including room to mount up to 10x 120mm fans or multiple 360mm radiators, and a motherboard tray with customizable side fan mounts. Two CORSAIR AirGuide fans offer directed airflow to your PC's hottest components, while room for four storage drives and a modern front I/O panel, including a USB-C port, ensure your PC is ready for this upgrade, and the next. Details about the extent of our regulation by the Financial Conduct Authority are available from us on request. Next I decided to install the vertical GPU mount, which requires two standoffs that come with the case — not the cable itself! You install the standoffs into the case and then mount the extension cable with two screws, while flexing the cable in an S-shape into the PCIe slot. Then you just install the graphics card and you're done. In my opinion the vertical mount looks very nice, filling the space better than the horizontal orientation. This gives a nice glimpse of the otherwise unseen face of your often very expensive graphics card too. Vertical installations really do look sharp!

The top of the case is similar to the front panel, along with the front I/O: a big square power button with LED, two yellow USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, and a Microphone/Audio combo 3.5mm port, and a smaller restart button. The top panel removes the same as the front, with a magnetic filter underneath featuring a matching triangular pattern. Pulling the yellow tab removes the magnetic filter for servicing needs. The top can also take two 140mm fans instead of three 120mm fans. It is a similar story with that blanking plate over the side ventilation which involves a handful of screws and a few minutes work. You'll have to take it from us that what you saw in the video was not our first effort at working with the 5000D but more like the third or fourth and the user guide – we forgot to include this in the video – is absolutely tiny. The guide isn't bad but it seems ironic that a large case comes with a tiny multi-lingual book. Corsair is launching a new line of cases hot off the heels of the 4000 series. The 5000 series of cases share many of the nice features found on the 4000, while providing more space for additional cooling capabilities. Two Included 120mm Fans: CORSAIR AirGuide fans utilize anti-vortex vanes to concentrate airflow and enhance cooling. Hi, looking to upgrade from the corsair 570x case and looking to vertically mount GPU on Corsair 5000D AIRFLOW but the corsair gpu mount puts the GPU to close to the glass and effects the temps a lot just wondering if anyone used any 3rd party vertical mounts that give better distance from the side glass and temperature differences ?

if there's glass too close to the GPU fans, you can blow all you want against the glass, it won't do much good (except cool a bit the fins from the outside) but the GPU fans are just depleted of airflow. CORSAIR AF RGB ELITE PWM fans deliver massive low-noise airflow with AirGuide technology for extreme CPU cooling performance.
