Coming to America they [MAD: Duncans] settled in Canada, where the father served in the Ninety-third Regiment of Highlanders during the rebellion in that country. He was admitted as an attorney at the New Jersey bar in November, 1908, having served his clerkship in the office of Munn & Church, of Newark. (MAD: Newark, Essex Co. NJ; b.1884 IL per 1910 census index) chronicles a summer of self-destruction, proving that even for those over forty, hormonal, and slightly bored, life can take unexpected and often hilarious turns. Her friendly gesture towards the new neighbours across the road is where it all begins. Little does she know that this seemingly innocent act of neighbourliness could unravel her world.
