The AirPlay function lets you stream straight from Apple Music, and Chromecast allows you to connect up other speakers or a voice-controlled device. We like the design. It is modern, yet oddly dated which makes for a fab combination. When there is a CD playing, this is illuminated. The control buttons on the top of the machine are smooth and integrated into the body, so there is no unsightly raised dials, and the little screen on the front displays a good amount of information at any one time. The size and flexibility would make it a great addition for a bedside table, too. The alarm and snooze ability would allow you to wake to the radio, chosen CD or a simple buzz, and continue listening while you’re getting dressed to make those early morning starts a little easier.
