About this deal

This amp is designed to offer a high-quality but extremely versatile and portable amp option, perfect for musicians who enjoy playing live performances to small to medium sized crowds. The Fishman Loudbox Mini Bluetooth is Fishman’s lightest and most portable amp. It now comes with the addition of Bluetooth® wireless connectivity. Compact yet powerful, the Fishamn Loudbox Micro 40w Acoustic amp is the perfect practice amplifier that delivers iconic Loudbox tones without taking up too much space. Boasting 40 watts of clean acoustic power, to Loudbox Micro delivers a natural, acoustic chime that preserves and projects the character of your acoustic guitar.

The amp would benefit from being battery powered for the added benefit to buskers (since introduced with the Loudbox Mini Charge) watts of power makes the Fishman Loudbox Mini amp a little bulky for some musicians but not loud enough for others Featuring a dedicated microphone channel, Fishman preamp tone controls, and built-in digital reverb and chorus you are able to create spacious soundscapes and shape your acoustic tone. SpecificationsNeither channel has a high/low gain switch: you simply set the gain level according to whether your instrument system is active or passive. The master section is simply that: a master volume, adjacent to which is the power LED. The Fishman Loudbox Mini Bluetooth is here presented in a Special Edition Cream finish. A full-featured acoustic guitar amplifier, the Loudbox Mini benefits from Fishman’s extensive knowledge of acoustic instrument amplification. 60 watts of power makes it suitable for most performance scenarios, while two channels, Bluetooth connectivity and a Balanced XLR D.I. give it plenty of versatility. Fishman Loudbox Mini is a solid amp but it’s far from perfect and reports about Fishman Loudbox Mini problems appear from time to time. Needless to say, since different problems require different solutions, troubleshooting is no walk in the park. Your Fishman Loudbox Mini is acting up and you have no idea why? In that case, this article could help you out. Overview

The Fishman Loudbox Mini is the ideal companion for an acoustic electric guitar, particularly for newer players. While the design does seem somewhat bulky, it’s important to note that the amp features a large woofer, which is partially why the amp design is somewhat on the bulky side. The best acoustic guitar amp for you can also be a question of outputs. If you are looking for a recording amp, or if you want to send a signal via PA speakers, you’ll need a line out or XLR DI output. Many of these amps will offer a variety of solutions here, with ground lift to kill hum and some with the option of choosing channels for the outputs. German acoustic amp titan AER manufactures a suite of incredible acoustic amps but for our money, and for the professional’s money, it’s the AER Compact 60 MkIV that takes the cake. It will bring out the best in your acoustic, delivering its tone amplified, untampered, and with all the mod-cons you need in a pro-quality two-channel acoustic amp. For the gigging guitarist and studio pro alike, this is the one. Used by the likes of Tommy Emmanuel, its small and portable but can fill a room. The Compact 60 has long been a favourite of professional players for its exceptional performance, delivering a crystal-clear transparency that doesn’t step on your acoustic’s tone. On the output side there is just a single mix D.I. output that sends all of the the channels through a single mono output if you want to plug into a larger PA system but still get the same sound of your amp. Specifications

This YouTube video will help you get the right setting in case you really need to play for a much larger crowd. Weighing only around 20lbs, this amp measures around 13.7-inch wide, 12-inch high and 9.7-inch deep. It has two channels — an instrument channel with the standard ¼-inch input and a mic channel with an XLR input. For microphone input, it can only accommodate dynamic and condenser mics that are already internally powered. It doesn’t have phantom power, so it cannot power all types of microphones. One of the features that sets this amp aside from its competitors is the bluetooth connectivity that it offers. The bluetooth connectivity is 4.0, which boasts a minimum range of 33 feet and a maximum range of 200. With this wide range, connectivity isn’t something that users need to worry about – however, due to its range requirements for bluetooth this amp is designed to be used for guitarists and buskers playing within small venues. The Acoustic Singer series from Boss takes the bi-amp format to offer an all-in-one amp solution for singer-songwriters, and its excellent design, tone and value for money make it a hugely attractive choice for any electro-acoustic player. Solution: Fishman recommends to use “compressed air” to blow out the potentiometers. Although this may not be a normal solution to hissing, some users said this solution works, and they didn’t have humming problems anymore. Issue 2: Need for a ground lift

Like the Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge, you can take this amp anywhere, with the choice of AC power via an adaptor at the wall or 8 AA batteries. The batteries are housed in a removable carriage and can be recharged. It’s not quite as elegant a solution as charging the Loudbox at the wall but bear in mind that should you leave your charger at home you can get batteries anywhere at a pinch. With 60 watts of power, a 6.5-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter, you can’t expect its power. What’s great is, it’ll efficiently project the original tone of your guitar. When you’re playing a steel-string guitar you can appreciate its mind-blowing sound quality. It has enough power to liven up small to medium-sized venues. The MkIV is much the same as the much-loved MkIII. There is the Colour switch that can cut the low-mids and boost the highs to help accentuate fingerstyle playing, and this you can fine-tune via the EQ. And transparency is still the name of the game (set at noon, the Compact 60 is totally neutral). But the MkIV comes equipped with an auxiliary input with level control, a pre/post-FX switch to let you place your direct signal before or after the onboard effects, and 9V phantom power on channel 1 to supply instrument preamps without a battery. Here’s where it gets interesting. The SFX knob on the control panel works in conjunction with the side-radiating speaker to dial in how much stereo spread you want from the amp. You can leave the SFX off and have your tone poking right at your audience, or dial in a bit or spread it wider with the SFX for a more ambient in-the-room sound. Using the SFX with the Vibratone brings forth some lush wobble and rotary speaker swirl. The chorus effect of this amp is of a high standard, particularly when combined with the reverb addition. The amp doesn't sacrifice tonal quality for beef. The timbre is clean, precise and quite hi-fi like, each of the EQ bands providing a smoothly graduated, non- extreme range.
