About this deal

This experience was quite enjoyable and entertaining, since it consistently elicited unexpected laughter. Of course, Brutal Prince is slow sometimes, but isn’t all good books like that at some point? I would give this book nine stars out of ten, and I assure you that you will enjoy it as well. Also, I'm not Polish, but some of the sentences used in the book seemed a bit off, hopefully a Polish speaker can confirm. We all consume movies created there, without really understanding what it means to live and work in that space. I thought it would be fascinating to throw an outsider into that hotbed of glamor and sin, with the imperative of unearthing a secret that everyone else wants to keep buried…” Synopsis: “A Star Is Strangled… Clara was Hollywood’s hottest rising star, until someone murdered her on the Paramount lot. I went to claim her body. The producers offered me a job instead. Clara and I may have looked like twins, but we’re nothing alike.

If Miko was talking to himself out loud or in his own head, then okay, obviously he would refer to her in Polish. But this way it sounds cringy, I'm sorry. No one actually talks like that. I had some high expectations for this book because so many of my friends love it and Sophie Lark in general. Brutal Prince is book 1 in the Brutal Birthright series, which is centered around this group of siblings in an Italian mafia family. It’s an enemies to lovers, marriage of convenience mafia romance between two rival mafia families, which should've been PERFECT for me. But sadly I struggled a bit with this, mainly because of the hero.

Table of Content

Love is the one thing you can’t steal. You can’t create it, either. It either exists or it doesn’t. And if it exists, you can’t take it by force” Synopsis: “I loathe Alastor Shaw. The city of San Francisco thinks we’re rival artists. In truth, we’re predators battling for hunting ground. We never chased the same prey. Until the night we both laid eyes on Mara Eldritch. Shaw wants to use her as a pawn in his twisted game. I’m fixated on her for a different reason… The individual has a little preoccupation with engaging in trekking, bodybuilding, and attending live comedy performances. The ideal day for her would be a visit to Harry Potter World with her children, followed by an evening of dancing alongside Mr. Lark. Subsequently, she would unwind by indulging in a captivating novel while enjoying a substantial bag of salt and vinegar chips. Brutal Prince Book Summary Description: “The Spy” is (was supposed to be) the final installment in the epic dark mafia Kingmakers series. It’s a forbidden romance, full of mystery, betrayal, and an explosive conclusion that will give you the biggest book hangover of your life! I loved their push and pull relationship, it was so realistic how emotionless Miko was towards Nessa at first, she really was his revenge. I'm so used to this trope but most of the time the Hero instantly starts feeling guilty or soft towards the Heroine, depriving me of the hate-fueled chemistry between couples but in this book I was served ENEMIES-TO -LOVERS excellence. I loved the way Miko slowly progressed with his feelings for Nessa, how he faced the wrath of his men to protect her, and ultimately worked with Callum who he hated and wanted to kill, to prove his devotion and loyalty to Nessa in her families eyes.

She made my panna cotta without raspberries because she knows I don’t like the seeds, and she doesn’t mind if I’m a spoiled brat. I grab her head and give her a kiss on the cheek as she sets it down in front of me. She has a slight obsession with hiking, bodybuilding, and live comedy shows. Her perfect day would be taking the kids to Harry Potter World, going dancing with Mr. Lark, then relaxing with a good book and a monster bag of salt and vinegar chips. This did have a more slower development tho. Not too fast like the first book, but still kinda fast if it makes sense. It wasn’t really dark for a “captive/captor romance” but it had some fun action scenes. They had that attraction, but I wouldn’t call what they have a true romance. They rarely interacted and when they do she completely surrendered which lessened my enjoyment.

Part 4: Concluding Remarks on Brutal Prince by Sophie Lark

These two entities exhibit contrasting characteristics, however their collaboration results in a harmonious equilibrium by mitigating each other’s excesses. This Is My First Book By Sophie Lark. And I Really Enjoyed It. I Really Like Aida And Callum. While Callum Has Old School Charm, She Is Refreshing. Their bitter rivalry reignites when Aida, the youngest and wildest Gallo sibling, crashes a party at the Griffin mansion, accidentally setting fire to the library. The Griffins and the Gallos have been battling for control of Chicago’s underworld for generations.
