About this deal

Amiibo rewards range from paraglider fabric to armor, weapons or materials (like ancient blades), depending on the figure in question. Update: Okay, it turns out you can get around that limitation by reloading a save from before using the amiibo, so now I can confirm that the horse fails to summon if you're in Zora's Domain and presumably other locations where horses can't travel. Assorted Mushrooms (Chillshroom, Hearty Truffle, Hylian Shroom, Rushroom, Zapshroom, Stamella Shroom, Skyshroom, Ironshroom, Sunshroom, Brightcap, Razorshroom)

Recieve fish, arrows, the Sea Breeze Boomerang and the Wind Waker costume set. Weapons will vary in strength, and will be stronger once you have freed at least one Divine Beast.

Of course, the real draw are those coveted armor sets, letting fans outfit their Hylian hero in their favorite green caps, tunics and trousers from past adventures. Tears of the Kingdom also introduces precious paraglider fabrics, encouraging you to tailor the all-important navigational tool with style to spare. Ingredients (Including Hyrule Herb, Swift Carrot, Swift Violet, Electric Safflina and Warm Sadllina) If you’re a loyal fan of The Legend of Zelda franchise, there’s a good chance you’ve got a couple dozen Amiibo that have been collecting dust since you rolled credits on Breath of the Wild. Thankfully, with the recent release of Tears of the Kingdom, all those Link and Zelda figures — as well as those of their friends and foes — can once again be leveraged to do much more than express your fandom. Fish (Including Staminoka Bass, Chillfin Trout, Sizzlefin Trout, Armored Carp, Armored Porgy and Mighty Carp)

Epona, Twilight Armor, Mirror of Twilight Fabric, knight's broadsword, soldier's shield (once Epona is registered) Train your FP fighter and level it up in offline modes to create a worthy friend or foe. Data is transferable between Wii U and 3DS, but not between Ultimate without losing FP levels and ability to be used on Wii U and 3DS.

Sword-Spirit Fabric, Sky Armor, White Sword of the Sky, knight's broadsword, knight's shield, soldier's shield Once you have SAVED GAME you can use your Amiibo and open the Chest. If you don’t like the items you got RELOAD YOUR SAVE and try again for something better.

Compatible games

I'm also disappointed that the once-per-day restriction applies to Epona, since you're not gaining anything new by having the horse summoned repeatedly, assuming it only allows one in the game at a time. I was kind of hoping I could use the amiibo to summon my horse anywhere in the world, rather than the extremely limited whistling they put in the game that is all but useless and makes horses completely impractical to bother with. For example, scanning the Majora’s Mask Link amiibo grants you the chance to themed fabric for your paraglider, or the Fierce Deity set. Beyond that, amiibo often also have a theme running through their respective characters — such as most Link amiibo dropping a type of generic sword, or Zelda amiibo granting minerals, herbs and flowers. Image: Nintendo Place the Amiibo scanner circle over a compatible area. If there's an exit on the screen, you can't scan an Amiibo there. Assorted Meat (Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat, Raw Gourmet Meat, Raw Whole Bird, Seared Gourmet Meat, Roasted Whole Bird)

If using Amiibo in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the same as its predecessor, Breath of the Wild, then you can follow the steps below to scan your figurine and collect your rewards. Then, simply scan your figurine or card by gently pressing it onto the the right controller of your Switch when it's in handheld mode. Below you'll find the rewards we've earned using compatible Amiibos in Tears of the Kingdom so far: Amiibo King of Red Lions Fabric, Wind Armor, Sea Breeze Shield, Sea Breeze Boomerang, boomerang, knight's broadswordIn Breath of the Wild, if the Super Smash Brothers Link Amiibo was scanned, the player would receive Epona, Link's Legendary Horse, as a riding companion, and this remains true in Tears of the Kingdom. However, Epona cannot be customized, renamed, tow cargo, or have her stats upgraded. Below you'll find all of the Paraglider Fabric we've recieved from Amiibos so far. It's important to note that, to change your Paraglider design, you have to visit the Dye Shop in Hateno Village. Link (Tears of the Kingdom) Credit: Nintendo. | Image credit: Nintendo.
