About this deal

Comprehensive Workbook : Use the included workbook as a guide to reflect on your progress and fine-tune your implementation strategy. As all of the folks behind the show have said, Ted Lasso was designed for three seasons. Admittedly, the third was a bit bloated on run times, and suffering from weak subplots (Zava and Jade, thank you for your service, but you deserved better). As she’s walking out of the airport, a little girl falls right in front of her face. When she looks up, she sees her mysterious Dutchman. He’s a pilot. She gets her happily ever after! Leslie, Keeley, and Rebecca in the season 3 finale. (Apple TV+) At the same time, there’s something to be said about shows that know when to end on their own terms. Succession’s series finale couldn’t be more different in terms of tone, but it left me with a feeling similar to the one created by Ted Lasso’s presumptive conclusion: Just because you can imagine what would happen to the characters in the next stage of their lives doesn’t mean we have to see it play out on-screen. For a time, Ted Lasso rode its immense word-of-mouth popularity to be the defining show of an especially bleak moment in modern history—a series that resonated in part because its fundamentally hopeful message of overcoming adversity is what a lot of people needed to hear. Jenna Bush Hager Reveals To Hoda Kotb That Her Daughter Asked Her Husband Why He Was "Lying" When He Said She "Never Looked Better"

So, that's material for at least one new show, especially when you remember Roy is starting therapy with Dr. Sharon Fieldstone (Sarah Niles). Plus, you still have the mess left over from Roy and Jamie (Phil Dunster) asking Keeley to choose between one of them.

Are there any tours?

Roy is named the new manager of AFC Richmond and decides to go to therapy with Sharon. He also hangs the repaired “Believe” sign with Nate and Beard. Keeley presents the idea of a women’s team to Rebecca, which Rebecca is ecstatic about. Beard and Jane get married at Stonehenge, but Ted doesn’t attend.

Inspirational Stories : Learn through engaging and amusing narratives that demonstrate the principles of The Richmond Way in action. The team has a goodbye performance planned for Ted, and it’s beyond precious. They sing “So Long, Farewell” from The Sound of Music. Seriously, get us a Ted Lasso musical immediately. Beyond its enthralling narrative and captivating characters, Ted Lasso has left an indelible imprint on popular culture. Garnering critical acclaim, the show has become a cultural phenomenon, resonating across diverse demographics. He is, in particular, impressed by the management style of the protagonist of the show, Ted Lasso. In the final episode of the finale, the author presents the book to Ted who changes its title from The Ted Lasso Way to The Richmond Way.Kate Middleton's Infamous Honey Trap Fashion Show Moment Takes Center Stage In 'The Crown' Season 6 Part 2 First Look Photos It’s a sentiment that Apple TV+ evidently wants to take to heart; the streamer’s insistence (desperation?) that Ted Lasso isn’t truly ending could be buoyed by where the show leaves the rest of its characters in Ted’s absence. Roy Kent is appointed Richmond’s new manager, while coach Beard chooses to stay in London as an assistant alongside the reformed Nate. Keeley’s PR firm comes into its own, and Rebecca stays on as Richmond’s owner while selling 49 percent of the club’s shares to the fans. (Rebecca’s decision echoes the Bundesliga’s 50+1 rule with regard to team ownership.) On the player side of things, Jamie reconciles with his alcoholic father, who has entered a rehab program; Sam Obisanya is finally called up to the Nigerian national team; Colin Hughes kisses his boyfriend on the pitch to cap off an occasionally clunky coming-out subplot; and Dani Rojas pulls a Ronaldinho by dating two women at once. (Apparently, like football, polyamory is life.) Throw in Keeley’s suggestion to Rebecca that she should create a Richmond women’s team, and there’s fertile ground for Ted Lasso’s story to continue without its title character in the picture. Practical Exercises : Each chapter concludes with a hands-on exercise to help you implement these principles in your work environment. At the end of the road near Richmond Green, you’ll find Ted’s local pub, which is known as The Crown & Anchor on the show but is actually called The Prince’s Head. While interiors were filmed on a set, the pub is leaning into its role with a wall of Ted Lasso memorabilia, including a framed Greyhounds jersey. For a tradition that’s quintessentially British, plan your trip around a Sunday roast—sort of like a year-round answer to Thanksgiving, complete with Yorkshire pudding. Nearby, you can also pay a visit to the 1899 Richmond Theatre, where team owner Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) hosts her children’s charity benefit in season 1, episode 4.

For some viewers, Ted and Rebecca’s easy chemistry seemed headed toward something more. I never got that impression. But the finale does tease (taunt?) anyone who was hoping the pair would come together in the end, playing around with a couple of romantic comedy tropes, only to subvert them with a joke or wistful smile. The Ted Lasso finale gives a small hint of what that could be. In the same montage, Rebecca ( Hannah Waddingham) and Keeley ( Juno Temple) appear to be planning a new project for Richmond — a woman's team. The duo is working together again, embarking on a new journey for Richmond. This allows Rebecca to find something she's passionate about and a reason to keep the club aside from destroying Rupert. She makes plenty of money when selling shares of Richmond at the end of the series, and this would be a way for her to use it and help Keeley grow her business at the same time. Both women learned from Ted's leadership style, and their new project could demonstrate that. One of the reasons why this show has captivated the imagination of fans lies in its potential for practical application in everyday life. Ted Lasso’s coaching approach and his outlook on life itself are rooted in empathy, kindness, and personal development.Ted Lasso’s Season 3 finale reminded us of Ted’s impact on those around him — the Lasso Effect! Since arriving at Richmond, he’s given characters courage, and reminded the team of the importance of second chances and that positivity and belief conquer all. No character has been impacted more than Roy, whom we’ve seen transform from an unbreakable stone wall to a caring leader, one who’s more accepting and transparent with his emotions, a point reiterated in the finale, where Roy finally went to therapy with Dr. Sharon ( Sarah Niles). Roy truly reflects the power of the Lasso effect and Richmond needs that in their coach — someone who can follow in the footsteps of Ted.

The Richmond Way’ frequently surfaces within the Ted Lasso series, serving as a descriptor for a distinct philosophy and approach to life. Call it trust, camaraderie or team-building, the Lasso or Richmond Way boils down to leading with love. Of course, making The Richmond Way a real book could be a bad idea. Essentially it would take all the subtext in the series and make it, literally, text. It would be hard to write a real copy of The Richmond Way that doesn't turn into empty, self-help nonsense.
