About this deal

In Outer Rim, players take on rogues and scoundrels such as Han Solo, Lando Calrissian and Jyn Erso who must complete a variety of contracts to earn credits and build up their fame. As well as its familiar faces, the game allows players to remix elements of Star Wars lore into their own adventure, with the freedom for characters to hop into ships belonging to other characters with various companions - Han piloting Jango Fett’s Slave I with an unshot Greedo by his side, for example.

First and foremost, one of the most important aspects of this expansion is the addition of new playable characters. Can you believe it’s already been five years since Arkham Horror: The Card Game first launched? This game has been going strong all this time and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. We had two big announcements for Arkham LCG in the In-Flight Report, with the first being Machinations Through Time. Both favors and ambitions are fantastic additions to the game and provide serious ways of shaking up the gameplay. Just be careful—once you play using one or both of these optional rules, you may find yourself never wanting to play without them again! Business as UsualIn addition, most advertising networks offer you a way to opt out of targeted advertising. Unfinished Business is a wonderful addition to the original Star Wars: Outer Rim set. It brings more variety, more characters, and a new layer of intrigue and action to the overall experience. Here is an example of a new databank card for Boba Fett, one of the playable characters from the base game, now in crew form. Yet since its release in 2019, gamers have been clamoring for an expansion. Finally, 3 years later their wish was granted in the form of Star Wars: Outer Rim – Unfinished Business. Was this expansion worth the wait? Let’s find out! Expansion Overview: If all the new things to see and goods to grab aren’t enough for you, then you’ll be happy to know that Unfinished Business also gives you lots of new things to do. For starters, a pile of new interactive jobs, such as Honest Robbery Sail Barge Sabotage Rebel Traitor

There was a fair amount of excitement over Restoration Games bringing this beloved game into the modern day. Regardless of how you feel about apps and electronics in your board game, Return to Dark Tower balances feeling familiar and intriguingly new. The centerpiece tower brings a literal and figurative elevation to the game experience. Whether Dark Tower was an old flame or a new discovery, there’s lots to love about this game. With the 25 th anniversary for Twilight Imperium around the corner, we have a lot of amazing things in store for fans of the franchise next year. The first of theseare two graphic novel series developed by our friends at CMON. The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game is Fantasy Flight Games’ longest-running LCG by a wide margin. This game has been around for ten years now, and the size of its loyal fanbase is a testament to how great of a game it is. To that end, we want to introduce this fantastic card game to even more people, and so we designed the Revised Core Set. If you have an empty shelf on your Kallax, have no fear. Foundations of Rome will fill it up. Surprisingly worthy of its box size, Foundations of Rome comes fully loaded with dual-layered boards, chunky pieces, and impressively detailed ancient Roman building miniatures. If that’s not enough, you can upgrade to get metal coins, a first player statue, a playmat, and more. All of this comes with an organizer that makes set-up a breeze. The table presence of this game will wow anyone walking by and playing it feels just as good as it looks. Looking for less? There’s a rumor of a re-theme with all cardboard pieces coming at the end of 2023. Once you have your new ship, you’ll need some things to fill it with. Fortunately, this expansion provides plenty of new gear, cargo, mods, and jobs for you to experience! Many of these cards have two assets: one on each end. These “rotating assets” have special features or represent 2-part tasks, and the rules for rotating them depend on the cards themselves. For example, the Bowcaster Astromech Droid Parts Custom Paint JobStar Wars Outer Rim was a game that took me pleasantly by surprise when I first played it. I wasn’t expecting much but it offered a surprising amount of depth and a sort of reminded me of a combination of Xia: Legends of a Drift System and with a few aspects of Eldritch Horror mixed in and then all wrapped up in a Star Wars Theme. The Outer Rim Unfinished Business expansion is here to make a new and added excitement. Return Of The Scruffy Looking Nerf Herder The 45 new Market cards add some interesting new items. In addition to the six new ships, there are new bounties featuring some of the original playable characters. The Cargo additions include passengers you must transport to systems as well as some items which require two destinations. For example, if you choose to get the Blaster Parts, you must deliver them to Cantonica. After rotating the card, you then take the assembled Blasters to Ryloth. There are also more cards for Jobs, Mods & Gear, and Luxury items. In addition to more encounter cards for each system, there are now encounter cards for the core. Image by Michael Knight. You’ve made a name for yourself in the Outer Rim, but there is still Unfinished Business. Hyperlanes through the Core Worlds hold the promise of untapped opportunities. The market is flush with new merchandise, from valuable cargo to tools of the trade. Just watch your step; the latest crop of bounties is even deadlier, and your rivals are looking to take you down! Because bigger is better, there's now a bigger table (if you like it, give some love to the mod there) We also plan to rerelease some (but not all) of the game’s cycles in the same fashion as we are for Arkham Horror LCG, with all player cards in a Player Expansion and all other cards in a Campaign Expansion. This is all to help new players get into this fantastic game as easily as possible. Look forward to more information on this initiative in the coming months!

First and foremost is a spread of new ships, such as the scrappy Rogue -Class Porax-38 Starfighter and the rebellious VCX-100 Light Freighter The first expansion for Star Wars: Outer Rim will allow players to become new characters such as Chewbacca. Six new ships are added to the game including the Jumpmaster 5000 which can be upgraded to Dengar’s Punishing One, a Rogue class Porax-38 starfighter which can upgrade to Cad Bane’s Xanadu Blood, and a VCX-100 light freighter which upgrades to the Ghost from Star Wars: Rebels. Several of these ships go along with the new playable characters. The eight new character standees and cards. Who will you play as? Image by Michael Knight. DescriptionFar from the shadows of Coruscant’s skyscrapers lies the dangerous Outer Rim. To many citizens, the galaxy's edge represents a hive of scum and villainy that is better left ignored. But to the scoundrels of the galaxy, the Outer Rim represents opportunity. If you can survive the harsh conditions of the edge of space, you may just find yourself emerging from the grime of the underworld as one of the most famous scoundrels in the galaxy.A skill test sees you rolling two dice—identical to the dice featured in X-Wing and fully compatible with that game—to determine if your job or encounter is successful. Your odds depend on your character and crew: Lando Calrissian may excel at rigging a game of sabacc, but IG-88 is more likely blast a hole in an organic! Highly Skilled (you have the skill more than once): You need at least one critical hit, hit, or focus to pass. The original bounty tokens in the main game were green and yellow and only accessible when you land on planets. Now, Unfinished Business puts the third token in play with an orange token that is only accessible when you land on a planet because it lies on a planet. The original two tokens laid beside the planet, but this one guarantees an encounter of some sort when you land on a planet. It still hides the tokens, in case you’re hunting a bounty, but it makes the token discovery experience far less empty. I only say empty because I didn’t know how good it was until it was included. The more bounties and potential crew, the better. Star Wars: Outer Rim – Unfinished Business is the expansion for the main game. This expands the original game with new characters to choose from, adding previously mentioned monikers and goals to shoot for, and provides an easy getaway from organization starships that you might run into along the space path. This also provides more detailed missions, more bounties, more ships, and more goodies in the market. It’s a great expansion and stays true to enhancing the experience and making it more than just another Star Wars game. That said, let’s break it down a bit. SCRIPT, because setting up the game is not necessarly the best part I added 2 scripts to help in your task
