Honestly, I was expecting this to be a lot worse than it was. I was genuinely surprised at how much I enjoyed certain aspects of this book and at how engaged I was throughout my reading. That being said, there were quite a few points where I wish a theme had been pushed further or I felt like this book didn't have as much emotional impact as it could have had. I only comment on the potential emotional impact because that seems to be a core goal of the book. How long has The Fifth Vital been in the making? I started writing the book in 2012. I know it’s crazy to imagine that almost eight years of work has gone into the book. I then met my writing partner Riley in 2019, and we worked hard to get the book over the finish line in six months to become what it is today. So it’s been quite a long journey. Along with “The Fifth Vital,” Mike Majlak and his friend and fellow YouTuber, Logan Paul, also co-authored two other books.
