About this deal

First 2 times I used it I set it on the highest setting and it was doing fine, though had to mentally adjust to it being a relatively small lawnmower (coming from years of petrol lawnmower that was probably 1.7x as wide). In this article, I will provide you with the information and tools you need to make the task of choosing your next electric lawn mower a breeze. I have reviewed all the mowers I have tested, and where possible, included a video review to show you the mower in action. If you need any additional help choosing your next electric lawnmower, feel free to message me using the comments section below. OUTSTANDING RESULTS: The carbon steel blade provides an excellent quality cut. The choice of 6 cutting heights from 20mm to 70mm can be easily adjusted, and the integrated rear roller helps you achieve a precise, professional striped finish on your lawn. SAFE-STOP BRAKE: LawnMaster's patented mechanical brake actively stops the blade for increased user safety, when the mower is switched off.

Considering this is the cheapest mower I could find on here, it's more than value for money. Because it does a very good cut. So it's good. And it's worth getting through the hurdles outlined above. The grass box is in two parts which slot together. This is irksome. It takes a bit to get them all to slot in at the right time, but even nearly all will work fine. It also doesn't do any mulching, though you can use it on really tall grass perfectly fine if you use the top part of the box without the bottom to cut it, then a grass fork to collect the tall grass or just go over it again but with the grass box assembled. While petrol mowers are usually somewhat more powerful and also perform their duties on large and uneven terrain, electric ones such as this one are - depending on the length of the cable - ideally suited for home use for cutting small and medium-sized lawns. As an electric mower, it's also significantly quieter and more environmentally friendly than a petrol engine. There's the main body of the mower. The grass box and the handle are inside. You will have to assemble these. There are small parts in plastic bags that have to be cut open. There's a guide and instructions in English and Mandarin. There's no instruction on how to put it together bit by bit though.

Offers three cutting height settings (20 - 40 - 60 mm), while the innovative grass comb enables close-to-edge mowing along walls, flower beds and lawns For the price it's alright, but you can notice it. The plastic grass collector box for example, while fine and I'm confident it'll keep for a few years (not as worried as other reviewers here) as it won't have to deal with a lot of grass weight, however it was slightly deformed out of the box. it'll still assemble fine but it's something that just points to this being a cheap lawnmower. PERFECT FOR MEDIUM LAWNS: 37cm cutting width and 10m power cable makes this mower perfect for cutting medium lawns. For this reason, the Bosch has also been awarded the "Blue Angel" environmental seal. According to the environmental experts, it is distinguished by reduced noise emissions, lower exhaust emissions, the avoidance of pollutants, and general benefits for the environment and health.

If you can put it together first. The box is surprisingly smaller than you might think. Reasons. It has to be cut open along the top to get rid of the sealing tape, and then there's actual seals which need to be either cut or tugged apart. The latter with some effort. I've now stored the machine upright with a bit of pressure to deform the plastic away from the blade.COMPACT STORAGE: Folding handles give a compact footprint, and a central carry handle makes it easy to move the mower in and out of tight spaces in the garage or shed. The 40L collapsible Redi-bag stores neatly on top of the mower.

The lawnmower assembly it self is so simple you don't even need the instructions, there are not many parts and it's quite obvious where all the parts should go. I like that I could install the handle a bit higher as being tall due to the 2 holes in the pole.MULCHING FUNCTION: choose from two ways to dispose of grass clippings. Collect in the 40L Redi-bag (TM) for green waste disposal, or use the supplied mulch plug to finely cut the clippings and return to the lawn to act as a nutrient. The handle ends up with the on switch being on the left, which takes a bit of getting used to if you're right handed. But you don't need to hold the button down. Press it and it will keep mowing. Till pressed again. Which is a nice development in these things. Are you in the market for a new electric lawnmower? As someone who has reviewed and tested many mowers over the years, I can help guide you in choosing the best electric lawn mower that suits both your requirements and your lawn’s needs. With so many options available in terms of features and cutting types, it can be challenging to find an electric lawnmower that is suitable for your lawn’s size and type, performs well, and is good value for money.
