About this deal

Calix was Thalia’s protector and hero until something happened in their lives that changed it forever. I typically love the psychotic, completely unhinged, violently possessive villain/anti-hero MMC, but there was just something about Rafe that wasn’t quite there for me. I felt the same way about Isa, although her character development was well done and made me like her a lot more in the last 2 books. Stalking 👀 🎥 Calix has cameras installed and a inside informant to keep up with all things Thalia. Just because he can’t be with her, doesn’t mean he’s not protecting her or watching over her best he can. I enjoyed the book. Mostly I felt incredibly sorry for Thalia she had so much trust in calix only for their dads to cruelly tarnish it. She endured so much as a child and then as an adult. Additionally, I wish this series had been condensed or spread out differently. I struggled slightly to stay interested through the first 2 books. I’m glad I did because the last 2 books were so great and full of all the action and twists that I love!

Because my obsession with you knows no boundaries. I would do anything for you. Any of the others would have owned you, but it is you who owns me, λουλούδι μου.” The author does a good job of warning readers with a list of trigger warnings and content warnings so be aware! The Greek references have really got me intrigued on how this story is going to forward. Hopefully she writes it soon! There was potential and to be honest, I was quite into it when the story began, showing how the two main characters met. Once they became adult, it seemed to me that their connection lost some of its depth. There was no passion or anything that really made me root for them. Something else that was kind of a miss for me was how the author didn't develop around Neri's diary ( Thalia's mother). We never get to know what secrets was in it. My guess is that it will play a part in the second book but I mean, I think the author missed her opportunity here to build an intrigue around the diary. And I can tell for sure that if she'd done that here, I would actually be looking forward to the next book. As I mentioned above, this is a long book and there were times when I lost interest. I like a 3 book max in series, and I felt like it could have been condensed. Books 2 and 3 could have been one book, IMO and for this reason is why I am giving them 4/5 stars. It’s official, Adelaide Forrest is my favorite mafia romance author, this book was everything you could ever want in a mafia romance. Angst, spice, family drama, tension, and bloodshed, it has it all. Honestly this book is a journey, just leave your morals at the door and enjoy. This book isn’t usually something I would read as I’m not a massive fan of dark romance but I absolutely loved it. There’s just something about the authors writing style that I can’t get enough of.

Tropes: Mafia romance, Dark romance, Possessive & Jealous H, Stalker, “Who did this to you?” and my personal fav “Touch her and you die” The dynamic between Thalia and Calix is SO addicting and powerful. The growth throughout, both as individuals as well as in their relationship, is so well developed; it makes all the moments between them hit you right in the feels. The plot is very well thought out with many twists and turns. This book just kept throwing me off and I loved how unpredictable it was. The intricate family connections were a key factor to the intrigue of this story. I appreciate the way the author intricately wove together all these complex details to create a story that felt truly alive. The major character development was another key element to this story. Calix Regas is dark and twisted. Thalia has changed, she is stronger. I loved watching her become herself, her revenge and obsession with making her feel special is so touching.PDF / EPUB File Name: Dreams_of_the_Deadly_Massacred_Dreams_1_-_Adelaide_Forrest.pdf, Dreams_of_the_Deadly_Massacred_Dreams_1_-_Adelaide_Forrest.epub Pero esto no duró mucho ya que el padre de Calix se acostó con la madre de Thalia, cosa que en la alianza de las seis familias era inaceptable, por lo que a ellos dos los desterraron y a la madre de Thalia, la mataron. This series follows Isa and Rafe. Their story begins in Chicago, in the midst of the Bellandi War. Rafael sets eyes on Isa from across the street and was determined right then and there to have her. But, seeing that she was only 16 at the time, he decides to wait the 16 months for her to reach her 18th birthday before acting upon it. He spends the next sixteen months absolutely consumed with Isa and will do anything to claim her in every way possible! Little does she know that she'll end up falling for a monster with plenty of hidden secrets. When the six families, banish the whole of the Regas family from Philadelphia, Thalia’s marriage contract is rendered null and void. Opening up 20 years in the past when a 13-year old Calix Regas signs the agreement binding him to the, then-5-year old Thalia Karras.
