About this deal

Oh and I really like klara and marcel (not sure abt the names tho) they were adorable lol I wish we got more of them together Mikolaj Wilk is the most vicious gangster in Chicago. His adoptive father saved him from the streets of Warsaw, only to die at the hands of the Griffins. I knew I needed someone hot as hell to melt Riona’s icy heart. Raylan is a rancher, a soldier, and a southern boy with charm to burn. Best of all, he loves a challenge. My favorite parts to write were the fish-out-of-water scenes, when uptight Riona ends up on Raylan’s ranch. I loved finding creative ways for Raylan to use his riding crop... – Sophie Leo and Dean may be family, but they have no love for one another. It's tough to overlook betrayal and the murder and disfigurement of one's family members, so understandably, they're at each other's throats from day one. After Dean sets his sights on Anna, their hatred for one another grows to a dangerous degree.

Simone Solomon lives in a gilded cage. She’s been raised to wealth, privilege, and above all, obedience. Even the house with its historically ambiguous decor and old books musty smells of fairytales, not to mention the enchanted garden. for some stupid idiotic dense brainless foolish mindless reason, i kept putting it off. so dumb, so incredibly dumb. And what was up with Miko’s erectile dysfunction problem? He’s had a hard time getting it up and cumming before meeting Nessa, but with her around, he gets hard immediately and can come in under a minute. Damn, Nessa must have some magical virgin p*ssy. ✌️The Griffins and the Gallos have been in a battle, to the death, to have the control of the mob underworld of Chicago for generations. Their legacy of violence and death has been a part of their culture for decades. There appears to be no resolution towards peace between the families. The addition of the song links in the book made it feel even more like a movie to me. Listening to the songs as I read the scenes that followed added something special to every single one. I hope the author continues to do this for all of the books in the series! I think if you’re looking for a mafia series to start with, this series is great. It’s not too dark, the mafia elements aren’t too overwhelming, but you still become familiar with it. But yeah like...even the first book had stereotypes, but to a lesser degree because only the villain was Polish. Now we have a main character who's Polish, who hates his country, makes constant jabs at it, the Polish mafia is basically described as the worst in brutality (at the start we even see their members raping a girl, but we never saw that with the Italian or Irish ones)... I don’t want to trap you,” I say to Riona. “I want to unleash you. I want to set you free. I want to show you what you really are . . .

The thing I want to put out here first and foremost and the main reason it got a low rating is because I don't think Lark's writing style is for me. There was potential here and I was ready to be ensnared by everything Miko-Nessa but oh my god I soldiered through it. I WANT to give it a higher rating, I WANT to love this book but I CAN'T. The characters weren't annoying and the plot was alright, especially towards the 80% mark, so why did I hate it? Because it was cliché as ffffffffffff! WTF was it with the Beauty and the Beast thing? And then the confession after interacting probably a maximum of 10 times with Nessa as Miko's prisoner? It was HORRIBLE! Sure there was tension between every character and the sexual tension was subpar, including the smut (-_-), but it wasn't enough to hold me over. Nero Gallo is the neighborhood psychopath. As vicious as he is gorgeous, Camille has watched him burn through every girl in a ten-mile radius, breaking hearts and never, ever getting attached. And I get that to love usually means to compromise but why is it always (I'm not actually asking why, I know why) that this compromise leans suspiciously closer to a woman bending her goals and dreams to fit someone else's life? I mean, I liked the fact that Raylan was ready to move to city for Riona, it was cute and shit, but in the end it was of course Riona who went from "why is Cal the head of family just because he's a guy, I WANT IT AND I'LL GET IT" to "nah, partnership what partnership lemme ditch my beloved city, spend thousands on an office in Nowheresville and live on a ranch".Aida is my spirit animal. She’s wild, passionate, and outrageous. Callum is the only man who can tame her. These two start out trying to rip each other apart. Soon they can only rip each other’s clothes off. I love this story because it launches the saga of the Griffins and the Gallos, and because it has so much humor and heart mixed in with the danger and adventure. – Sophie After an incident at school that leaves Anna heartbroken, Dean, Leo's cousin and archenemy swoops in and tries to keep them apart and have Anna all to himself. I was just all 🥰🥰🥰 about Riona and for that alone, this book might have got a lot more stars. Unfortunately, I found myself disappointed in the end. She makes me feel things I never thought I could feel. Want things I never wanted. Only she can make me lose control. I don’t know if I should protect her at all costs… or destroy her before she ruins me. Mara knows I’m no saint. But she has no idea she’s dancing with the devil…”

First of all, just a moment of silence for the cover model. I mean 🤤! Don’t understand why his whole self isn’t as fawned about as the story.

Publication Order of Standalone Novels

Ms. Lark likes to make comments about her stories she calls “Lark Notes”. In this novel, she describes Aida as her spirit animal. Aida has a strong personality, being passionate, wild, and acting outrageous. Callum is the only man with any possibility of taming her. At the beginning they are ripping into each other and as time goes on, they are ripping each other’s clothes off.

Description: “Heavy Crown” is the mind-blowing conclusion to the bestselling Brutal Birthright series. It’s a stand-alone Dark Mafia Romance with HEA and no cliffhanger. Contains extra-steamy scenes guaranteed to make your night! The world building of the mafia school was not as interesting to read about as I would’ve liked. It dragged. It became boring. Leo and Anna are great when together, not so much when they're apart, which is a lot of the book. Dean is a real piece of work throughout the book. He does some nasty things and feels no remorse over them. The young and wild Gallo sibling, a spirited beauty by the name of Aida, crashes a social function at the Griffin mansion, and entirely by accident, sets fire to the library. While Holly and Byron say that they are going to just remain friends, it appears that actions speak louder than words here. The two are constantly hooking up and taking the clothes off the other one. It’s clear that they have incredible chemistry together and they probably would be a fantastic couple if things got serious. Now onto Leo and Anna…. I adore the childhood friends to lovers trope. It makes my heart so happy. I also like that their love was somewhat forbidden. Leo was so protective of Anna and they just cared so much about each other!!! Ugh I love them so much. Their story was everything and I am so content with the ending. No of course not😃 After that he watched her pleasure herself through the camera he placed in her room. I don’t think my girl knew that, she never mentioned she knew it if I’m right so wtf? Like wtf? Pls don’t, pls. Don’t. That made me very uncomfortable I’m sorry 😭
