The following side effect is very rare, but you must stop taking the tablets and speak to your doctor straight away if you notice these symptoms:

for the relief of hayfever (allergic rhinitis) and year round allergies such as dust or pet allergies(perennialallergic rhinitis) You should not take Allergy Relief Tablets during breast-feeding because cetirizine passesinto breast milk. Ask your doctor or pharmacistfor advice before taking any medicine. Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use. Uses: To relieve the symptoms of: Hayfever, skin allergies, pet allergies, mould spore allergies and house dust mite allergies. Dosage: For oral use. Adults and children aged 12 years and over: One tablet once a day. Children aged 6 to 12 years: Half a tablet twice a day. Children under 6 years: Not recommended. See leaflet for further advice. Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Allergy Relief is usually taken only for a short time until your symptoms clear up.

What you need to know before you take Cetirizine TabletsDo not take Cetirizine Tablets After an overdose, the side effects described in section 4 below may occur with increased intensity. Cetirizine Tablets should be avoided in pregnant women. Accidental use of the drug by a pregnant woman should not produce any harmful effects on the foetus. Nevertheless, the medicine should only be administeredif necessary and after medical advice. The following adverse reactions reported during the post-marketing period are listed in the following table by System Organ Class. Frequencies are defined as very common (> 1/10), common (> 1/100 to < 1/10), uncommon (> 1/1,000 to < 1/100), rare (> 1/10,000 to < 1/1,000), very rare (< 1/10,000) and not known (cannot be estimated from the available data).The name of this medicine is Bell's Healthcare Allergy and Hayfever Relief 10 mg Tablets, which will be referred to as Cetirizine Tablets throughout this leaflet. Do not take for longer than 7 days in a row. Talk with your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 7 days of treatment, or if you have a fever with a headache or skin rash. As with other drugs, the use of Allergy Relief Tablets should be avoided in pregnant women.Accidental use of the drug by a pregnant womanshould not produce any harmful effects on thefoetus. Nevertheless, the administration of themedicine should be discontinued.
