About this deal

Epping St John's School, a Church of England school, is the only mainstream secondary school in Epping. It has an active charity fundraising group led by a Student Executive team. In 2020 two hundred students were awarded the Rotary Prize for 'Service to Schools was in Essex' by the local Epping Rotary Club. With Lion Nathan wholly owned by Kirin Brewing Company since 2009, and Fosters owned by SABMiller since 2011, Coopers is the only wholly Australian-owned major brewery. [2] 2012 – 150th anniversary [ edit ] A pale ale naturally conditioned in an Aluminium Can. This was essentially Pale Ale rebranded to overcome any comments about differences in taste due to the can. Eventually the product was named consistently with bottle and keg Pale Ale.

Overall - 4.5/5: Some find it boring, but as mentioned, I popped my Pale Ale cherry to this piece of, South Australian culture. It's never failed on a session, it's never failed to quench my thirst. It's bigger cousin, Coopers Sparkling Ale may have more oomph, but it's a classic easy drinking beer, that puts a smile on my dial. Coopers Original Pale Ale. The Original, and the best. Coopers Pale was my introduction into the pale ale scene, and the craft beer scene. Whilst not a 'craft beer' per se, it's an excellent style of the Australian Pale Ale, and has stood the test of time to not only be one of Australia's finest beers, but one of my favourites. It's my go-to when there's nothing else, because it never lets you down. This is going to be a bit biased, but it's one of my favourite beers. By the end of the 19th century Coopersale was seen as the identifiable northern district of Theydon Garnon parish, and itself had become a separate ecclesiastical parish in 1852 as part of the rural deanery of Chigwell, in the same year that St Alban's Church was built in Early English style. The church with its rectory was financed by Miss Harriet Archer-Houblon of Coopersale House as was the 1882 adjacent parish room. Miss Archer-Houblon's advowson provided for the church incumbency, which came with 5 acres (20,000m 2) of glebe land. This patronage lay with the Archer-Houblon family until 1914, when it was transferred to the Bishop of Chelmsford. [6] [5] [10] Most of the population live in the built up area centred on and around the High Street (B1393) and Station Road. About a thousand people live in the village of Coopersale which, while physically separated from Epping by forest land, is still part of the civil parish. A few dozen households make up the hamlets of Coopersale Street and Fiddlers Hamlet. Much of the eastern part of the present parish was until 1896 in the parish of Theydon Garnon. The town has a number of historic Grade I and II* and Grade II listed buildings. The weekly market, which dates to 1253, is held each Monday. [3] In 2001 the parish had a population of 11,047 [1] which increased to 11,461 at the 2011 Census. [2]

To date, six generations of the family have been involved in the brewery. [44] In addition to those who served as partners and/or directors, many other family members have worked in the brewery.
