To safely clean and scrub all sealed and finished floors, simply fill the tank with water and some of the included Bissell floor cleaning solution.Electric spin mops, like our recommended Bissell, use two rotating microfiber pads to scrub floors with either plain water or a cleaning formula that you dispense from the appliance. The pads are machine washable and reusable and can even be used dry for buffing floors to a shine. While the actual size of a mop's head may vary from one product to another, there are a few shapes of mop heads that you can expect with certain types of mops. The size of your mop head will also affect its absorbency. Flat mops, spray mops, dust mops, and steam mops all tend to have rectangular mop heads that can range in size from 8 inches to 24 inches. The mop head is made of highly absorbent microfiber, which extends the time between mopping and wringing out the mop (although we recommend wringing it out frequently to avoid spreading stains and debris). While this spin mop is not compact and does not have wheels, we still think it’s one of the best spin mops for regular cleaning. With steam mops, we filled the tank with water and set it to its highest mode, recording how long it took to heat up.
