One who had been an eyewitness to all those events, indeed a key participant in them, was the leader who had splashed down with the first group of astronauts.

I thought it would be good to read another book by Zecharia Sitchin, so now I have just finished reading his book, The Lost Book of Enki : Memoirs of an Extraterrestrial God. C., it was said to have contained more than half a million “volumes”--books inscribed on a variety of materials (clay, stone, papyrus, parchment).Short of manpower, the astronauts employed genetic engineering to fashion Primitive Workers-- Homo sapiens. However, what is Egypt left with, if they accept the scientific conclusions that they merely INHERITED the great pyramids, and not the magnificent tales of dedication and labor. Let me also say that I have read all of Sitchin's books and found most, the first 3 or 4 at least, to be fascinating. It's just an interpretation based on a *mostly* real translation, a lot of which is extremely suspicious to begin with. It made me think of the tales in the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament, from Eden to the Tower of Babel, in a new way, which is a good thing.

It is also VERY interesting, the similarities of this story, and that of modern religions, as well as religions past. He was one of the few scholars able to read and interpret ancient Sumerian and Akkadian clay tablets. It's very readable, which is something of an amazing thing, considering most of the academic articles or having to rely on google for the information.
