The Flying Scotsman, one of the most well-known steam trains in history, served as inspiration for it. This set includes a dining car, a tender, and a steam locomotive that resembles the well-known A3 Pacific 60103 Flying Scotsman. It's pretty nice, but the one thing I don't like is it is NOT MOTORIZED which is a shame if you love steam trains.

The case is made from 3mm acrylic and comes flat-packed, complete with instructions and 14 screws to assemble the panels together. You can get a motor to replace the engine compartment so that the train will actually run on (lego brand) tracks.

Nowadays, the connotation of the train has already transcended just being a mode of transportation and has grown to symbolize a variety of cultural conceptions as well as spiritual nourishment. A small smoke plate is attached to each side of the front, and three little smoke outlets are attached to the top for a realistic smoke effect. Bathed in the soft luminescence of LEGO Lights, details like the detailed interior of the dining car and the steam emanating from the locomotive come alive, evoking feelings of warmth and wonder. People can be upset and shoot me for saying this, but I purchased the Lepin version of this train and powered it for half of what it cost to get the Lego version.

I built up a simple caboose design using the same color scheme with some of the same troubles as the coaches in terms of color matching. Build this incredible classic-styled train with loads of amazing details, from the steam locomotive with furnace to the opening tender and dining car with removable roof, opening doors and detailed interior. The first set of MOC-34786 Emerald Night Class A2 Locomotive consists of the water tender, the corridor section, and the locomotive section.Similar to the A2, the tender features two ladders leading to the roof at the back and a shovel in the front. Lego sets of this size and complexity offer a lot of rewards for the dedicated builder, because there is a lot of inner detail which is not visible from the outside that you are putting together during the building process. Includes three minifigures, elements in rare colors and all-new large train wheels with piston motion!
