I have a good number of these freshies, but I gotta say hands down this is the best performer as freshies tend to be poor performers. I have a early 2020 batch (00551) of this that I started using as a daily scent for work and, honestly, even though this was released nearly a decade ago, this doesn't stop making me receive unsolicited compliments from female (one of my girl coworkers told me that I smelled delicious) and even male coworkers who have said similar things and have asked me what fragrance it is. A sweet, fresh aquatic fragrance that lasts for 6-8 hours on me, and is the fragrance that always gets compliments.

I always hope to say positive things when I review a fragrance, however, my priority is honesty in my reviews. It's too strong imo for casual wear, so I didn't get that far into the bottle despite owning it for six years. Powerful and fresh marine accords combine with classic sexy woods to create an addictive combination of freshness and heat. The fragrance opens with fresh grapefruit and a marine accord that lead to the heart of aromatic bay leaf and Hedione jasmine and a woody base of guaiac wood, patchouli, oak moss and ambergris.Cobalt is clearly a blue masculine fragrance while Platinum leans more feminine, specially in the opening and mid. It brought the Paco Rabanne name to a younger audience and made a huge impact in the market by doing so. There's really not a whole lot that can be said besides that if you like Invictus then this one is definitely worth a shot. And after what seems to be a strenuous effort of taming the extracts, the resins and the oils, an effort from which nothing less than a masterpiece should be expected, they give us.

I would imagine that this would be a perfect fragrance for those going to high school, as its versatile and lasts throughout the school day. Although it seems to me that there is a movement to simplify the bottles of today, making them very straight, cylindrical and/or discolored, Paco Rabanne still believes in the legend (beyond true) that a large part of worldwide sales of perfumes is due to the beauty and creativity of their bottles, together with what the fragrance represents. Invictus – a new fragrance for menA name, which represents masculinity, strength, victory and informality. Occasions anywhere, like casual going out but personally I wouldn't see this fit for dates and such.

The glass bottle feels great, the plastic top though is cheap and the atomizer is a bit awkward and not very smooth to operate. It is similar to Bad Boy Cobalt,but the latter has more depth and it isn't as linear as Invictus Platinum. Lovely modern sweet scent, more leaning to a younger demographic but still suitable for the mature man, especially if young at heart.

I received this and a few other fragrance samples included in a recent swag bag and gave this to my husband to wear.
