I had Fifa 17 on the PS4 and to be honest I'm not too bothered about the Journey mode so it's no great loss to me personally. I can't give the guy enough credit and respect for the work he does, and I trust his judgement 100%. And I think they're going to be a little more generous(Nintendo related sites) than they perhaps should, because this is EA's bellwether or litmus test if you will. I'd recommend it to anyone who purely games on Switch as it's a pretty solid console experience and good handheld experience. If a game is missing a fundamental game mode that other versions have had for literally a decade then it deserves to be marked down. Unfortunately it is one of those series thats always going to be compared to its offerings on other platforms.
