About this deal

The G Pro is a smaller mouse that can feel a little awkward to use with the wrong hand size, but we've found that the G403 is agreeable for everyone we asked. The G Pro and G403 are effectively identical in terms of underlying mechanical and electrical functionality, and are differentiated almost exclusively by the shell of the mouse. Logitech G403 Gaming Mouse can be used with preset programming or fully configured to match your preferences. We prefer the scroll wheel on the G403 to Zowie's, but you may prefer the shape of the Zowie mice -- that's more subjective. On the other hand, the Mad Catz is marginally lighter and has several modular pieces, including side panels with a thumb and pinky rest.

We've found that the mouse seems to sit most naturally in the lower half of the palm, with the index and middle fingers landing squarely in the center of LMB and RMB. The GLORIOUS is designed for ultra-light gaming, with a honeycomb pattern that makes it very lightweight.Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).

The Logitech G403 Prodigy Wireless is better than the Logitech G403 HERO, but mostly due to its wireless capability, as it's essentially a wireless version of the G403 HERO. The Logitech G703 LIGHTSPEED with HERO Sensor and the Logitech G403 HERO have very similar designs and perform almost the same. GN's Mike Gaglione, co-host in the video review of these mice, used both devices heavily for competitive Battlefield and FPS gaming. That said, it has a better sensor with a wider CPI range, almost no CPI variation, and a lower lift-off distance. Tracking is accurate, and the mouse is easy to whip around for twitch moments (if playing with a lower DPI).

The Razer DeathAdder V2 and the Logitech G403 HERO are very similar mice, with the Razer being marginally better. Network conditions and environmental factors, including volume of network traffic, building materials and construction, and network overhead, may lower actual data throughput rate. G403 is lightweight and comfortably designed to mold to your hand with rubber grips for added control. The scrollwheel opts out of the Logitech hyper scrollwheel and uses mechanical scroll tracking instead of the traditional opti-mechanical tracking. The Logitech G403 HERO is an excellent FPS gaming mouse, while the HyperX Pulsefire Raid is a good, versatile gaming mouse. This D-Link product includes software code developed by third parties, including software code subject to the GNU General Public License (“GPL”) or GNU Lesser General Public License (“LGPL”). The Logitech G HUB software is available on Windows and macOS, while the NGenuity software is only available on Windows. While I love the wheel's scroll, actually using it as a button is a little annoying due to how much force you need to use press it.

The G Pro flaunts a more "grown-up" look, but is also a design informed by professional eSports players. This mouse is a little bulky and has a long back, so it isn't recommended for those with small or medium-size hands and using a fingertip grip, as some of the buttons and scroll wheel can be difficult to reach. However, its mediocre scroll wheel makes it less ideal for office use, and some MMO players may be disappointed by the number of buttons available.

Again, GN's Mike didn't like this one quite as much -- he found it too small, forcing the fingers forward and over the front of the keyplates. The Logitech is a right-handed mouse with a slightly curved body, with two buttons on its left side. If you have small hands and use a fingertip grip, check out the Logitech G PRO HERO, as it has a more compact body. The G403 and G Pro both use a mechanical rotary encoder to process their scroll input, resolving the LED/optical conflict and allowing for backlights within the wheel. Neither has the pre-travel spring keeping tension on the switch, and neither has the steel pivot bar for the fulcrum.
