The first four movies have their own individual discs with the last four movies spread across two discs. Jason Voorhees drowned as a young child at Camp Crystal Lake due to the inattentiveness of camp counselors. Grain is better resolved and the level of detail has been boosted, but not by much as the low light cinematography can only allow for so much visual information to be obtained.
