This fits into the character of person who ‘doesn’t wear cologne’, and this is their only bottle, for special occasions. I read some people have projection issues, but I find this has strong projection and longevity for me. It’s a polite, quietly sexy perfume appropriate for slightly elevated situations, an all-rounder in colder weather and evening-appropriate in the summer months.

The oriental character is quite moderated, and comes across more tobacco than agarwood, perhaps that suggests a slight cedar note? I feel silly for overlooking this originally, it only proves it's a good idea to give a fragrance multiple wears before tossing judgement. This stuff is beautiful, warm, rich, addictive, smooth, everything you can name in a solid fragrance. you (no pun intended) Only downside is performance I get about 5,5 hours on my skin and a very soft projection.

Just looking at the bottle and the color of the liquid sends out a 70s vibe - - bell bottom pants, large collars that can be used as handkerchief, paisley designed polo, clogs. When I first smelled this on my crush I was like whoa this is GOOD… as time went by we started dating and he used so much (because I liked it on him) that he has almost finished the bottle.

The only fragrances that use the cardamom in a similar ambery way are Rasasi Sotoor Waaw and Halfeti Leather. Great for intimate personal moments, it adds a charming touch that enhances your connection in a powerful way. Get this: 12h after I sprayed Intense Man on in the evening and 1h after I sprayed The one on on the morning, I still got more Notes of Intense Man than The One. This is youthful and mature at the same time it's a magical scent I don't understand how some people may not like it. For my bottle, the base notes are there, but they are incredibly weak, and thus the fragrance is pretty much gone after the opening. There are better frags out there for men on the market right now but this will always be a good one and I will always like a man who wears this.

I remember it being heavy in tobacco and spices then settling down a little while seeming mysterious…. I'm pretty sure this scent is reformulated, because I tried it in spring 2022 and it was a beautiful, rich scent that felt almost gourmand-like with a La Nuit de L'Homme-like moderate projection. The fun thing is that I tried it yesterday and I remember it as a perfect scent with one big downfall, the longevity. I've owned both the EDT and EDP and the EDP definitely is richer and stronger smelling overall but that doesn't mean the EDT is weak by any stretch of the imagination.The immediate opening is very nice, but right afterwards there's a strong sense of something synthetic. The model of the fragrance advertising campaign will be the actor Matthew McConaughey, who will next week join the designers in the NYC.
