About this deal

It can be used for daily gardening work for weeding, loosen the soil, planting vegetables and more as need. Before hanging up your hoe for winter, smooth out any rough patches on the wooden handle with sandpaper and sharpen and oil the blade and handle. The heavy weight is important because it builds momentum as the tool swings downward, and helps them easily penetrate the soil.

Ok, it’s not gonna get you through planks of wood but it tackles reasonable sized tree roots which gives you an idea of how robust and powerful this tool really is. So it is the very fact that the old tools are made of steel that I use them, not because they are recycled. the geometry of the tool so that the end of the handle is at comfortable level for their height, AND allow the blade to make the proper angle with the soil.Making your life easier in the long run is the idea, if you go for the hardwood handles, why not grab some sand paper and possibly give them a once over too.

I found an old silver plated salad spoon which worked perfectly in the back but obviously I could not weld the silver, instead I used a nail to keep it in place which I then welded onto the sculpture. Easy to Install】1 mins to assemble this collinear hoe by screwing 3 pieces together with no extra tools required. A soft grip handle that adds to control with its non-slip qualities and I’m sure it probably helps with the shock absorption a little too. This tool’s short length meant it was easy to control and the stainless steel blade sliced smoothly through light weeds.I have had my hoe for about a year now, i have two allotments and as you can imagine at times have loads of weeds and i can honestly say this hoe is the best tool i have ever bought to me it's worth it's weight in gold. A few basic tips though, I am not a fan of breaking my back and hunching over all day so I am going to opt for a long handled piece of equipment.

I have used a lot of shears for the wing feathers and have used an old leaf rake to add the long feathers on its back. These are strong enough to hack through big weeds and grass clumps, but also sharp enough to scrape through the soil to slice and uproot small weeds. It is really comfortable to use and the blade is laid just below the surface of the soil and then moved over the weeds. The ash wood handle is extra long at 60 inches which I favour as I’m not a tall guy (5ft 9) but the other lads are and after 20 years plus of landscape gardening anything that helps combat the back strain I am always going to favour. The hoe gets its name because the blade looks like a stirrup on a horse’s saddle and the stirrup often pivots, cutting weeds on the push and pull stroke.
