The legacy of Hellraiser continues today, following the release of a reboot movie starring Sense8's Jamie Clayton as a gender-swapped version of Pinhead. Arrow Video is bringing the Hellraiser franchise to 4K Ultra HD with a brand new Hellraiser: Quartet of TormentLimited Edition 4K UHD set, which features the first four movies in the Clive Barker-created horror franchise – plus the Workprint Version of Hellraiser: Bloodline! Don’t get me wrong, it’s kind of fun to see them walking through the streets causing mayhem, but they are very much from the 90’s.Hedonist Frank Cotton ( Sean Chapman) thinks he has reached the limits of earthly pleasure, but a mysterious puzzle box will take him further than he can possibly imagine, opening the doors to a dominion where pain and pleasure are indivisible and summoning the Cenobites, whose experiments in the higher reaches of experience will tear Frank’s soul apart. The big difference with this 4K iteration of Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth over Arrow's earlier Blu-ray is the corrected framing, so there's no longer too much picture information (including lighting rigs and crew members). Overall this is a stacked set that sees Arrow really going out of their way to provide some real additional value for the many they’re aware will already have the previous versions.JP’s girlfriend Terri, ( Paula Marshall) hooks up with Joey after coming into possession of the iconic puzzle box. He expertly walks the line being a terrifying monster whilst delivering cutting one liners with confidence and not damaging the brand or heritage in the process.

Much of the same is also true of Hellbound: Hellraiser II, only here there's the added complication of matte and optical FX shots, which naturally see detail levels drop significantly.
