Overall, I can recommend the phone, but you will need to be conversant with your router’s menu to set it up properly. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

To help others I can tell you that it comes with a Euro plug and will like their other “C” phones, download and install the same language as the FritzBox Router after pressing the “Dect” button. Box control panel, it’s just easier to enter contact details using the browser control panel and a keyboard for example, but there are several C6 specific functions you’ll manage on the handset. Compared to mobiles a 240 x 320 pixel screen might sound small but it’s still much better resolution than my existing home phone. For ultimate speech intelligibility, the FRITZ Phone C6 supports HD telephony, which transmits voices more naturally than traditional voice transmission. Box 7590 we had just 1 signal strength antenna out of the 5 (our Panasonic cordless phones with their base located right next to the FRITZ!

These aren’t features I’ve tried, I’ve got all that set up on my mobile, but it’s interesting to see the options there if you want them. As for the rest of their features they all worked fine (turning WiFi on and off is especially convenient - we would like to see more start screens however) which is also why we’ll be using them in the lab from now on. Fon C6 persuades with impressive sound (high definition) along with many web services, including e-mail reception, web radio, news feeds and podcasts.

After some struggles with poor audio quality (voice was barely understandable, I restarted, reseted, reinstalled.The ergonomic, illuminated keypad with a message indicator and the high-resolution colour display make using the FRITZ! Build quality is also very good (although not the best we’ve seen from all the cordless telephones we’ve used) and so is audio quality (crystal clear compared to most cordless we’ve had in the lab). The free software updates increase convenience and performance and are installed at the touch of a button.
