I thought this noisy tool was a lazy mans gadget until i borrowed one, then i bought one now i can not work without one. I've been in the building trade for 30 years so believe me this is well worth having in your tool box. Have use it for cutting slots into plasterboard and wood for the electricians to fit plug boxes and light switches. I have only really used the Dewalt blades and they seem to last but another big reason I purchased it was because it can use most blades which are on the market which makes finding replacement blades alot easier if im caught short on a job. Wow I wish this tool had been invented along time ago, I absolutely love this bit of kit, sad I know, but this is one boys toy I love, versatile tool hard wearing, blades not the best sometimes but their cheap enough to replace, really recommend this tool. It has a bright LED light that illuminates dark work surfaces for accurate cutting, whilst the depth control straight cut guide increases cutting accuracy for detailed work. Yeah spot on one of my favourite tools, and the one I use is the DeWalt DCS355, it's the brush-less 18 volt multi tool, so yeah check it out.Other alternatives are the Hikoki CV18DBL, the Bosch GOP 18V-28 Professional and the Festool Vecturo OSC 18. We know that as a tool anyway, purely because of the nature of the tool, great for plumbers, cutting pipes, trimming holes for pipes. Haven't used it yet, but again I'll get round to reading the instructions on it as we do, after we give it a go first and give up and read the instructions. The quick blade change is great even if it’ll snap the end of the blade off occasionally, and the led work light is surprisingly useful.

Has the quick snap in blades so no need for using a key to lock in place, however you can get a attachment to use with those blades.
