About this deal

What it is receiving is my Macbook Pro's screen, which I have also brought up the resolution being output- 4k30. What I want is for only the top-left 1920x1080 pixels of the 4k source to take up the entire canvas. However if you're more of a social person please don't hesitate to reach out Twitter, Facebook or Instagram!

The source is much larger than my base resolution, and goes off the sides of the "canvas," which is exactly what I'm looking to do with a video capture source.A powerful video mixer engineered for multicam production, Cam Link Pro equips you to capture four HDMI signals with ultimate ease and flexibility. The ONLY thing that doesnt seem to think "4k30" is the actual source being shown in OBS, which is only 1920x1080 pixels worth of data (If I stretch the bounds to 3840x2160, it is extremely blurry/pixelated).

Card say : 1920x1080 60 fps - this card can't change resolution in the fly, many card can't change up from received 30 fps to 60 fps in lower resolution. FiniteSingularity and I are both having exact same results, even after trying a lot of different options -- I'll also note that I am on Windows 10 compared to FS being on Apple. I do think the Camlink Pro only supports 4k30 when using NV12, and that the issue was created by OBS defaulting to YUY2 or something which made the source 1080. Free assistance is available for the first 60 days on new purchases, excluding internal hardware installations or networking support. Grabber (like Cam Link Pro) is passive device, your source must correct introduce list of resolution.

Finally, as shown in the attached image of the Camlink Pro Device Properties in my first post, its video is "3840x2160p" with a refresh rate of "30fps" This is why I believe it is something in OBS. For good measure, I've also opened up the video source properties window (same as the screen shot in my original post) that shows a resolution of 4k30 (circled for convenience), as well as the camlink pro input device properties (same as in my first post), which once again shows that the input is receiving a 4k30 signal. I understand you want to use only part of your captured image, so your choice of the smaller canvas. However, with all this information, you should now be able to run 4 separate 4k30fps inputs inside OBS.

Using the software may require the use of a computer or other device that must meet minimum system requirements. Picture in Picture, Side by Side, Triple, or Quad — choose your Multiview layout in Elgato 4K Capture Utility, and switch layouts on the fly with Elgato Stream Deck.So my theory is that even when you set OBS FPS to a low value (24 or 30), it's still trying to connect to the source video capture device at a HIGHER FPS, and that is kicking the Elgato Cam Link Pro into a lower resolution capture. Once that's all good and you're getting the appropriate resolutions being read in the 'grabber' app, go to OBS and select your first input. Pic- ture in Picture, Side by Side, Triple, or Quad — choose your Multiview layout in Elgato 4K Capture Utility, and switch layouts on the fly with Elgato Stream Deck. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). In OBS even if I have canvas and output set to 3840x2160, and add the source capture video configuration at 3840x2160, OBS seems to see it as a 1920x1080 device.

I really think it's worth taking a look at my log above showing that OBS is negotiating with the device for 1920x1080 at 50FPS. The lesser usb3-based CamLink 4k does work at 4k -- though obviously the 4-hdmi pcie card would be preferable.I've gone through and tried every port, and none of them seem to do 4Kp30 to OBS (again, they ALL do 4Kp30 to every other capture software I have).
