If I were to describe each half of the book with an expression, it would be like : 1st half- WTF I AM READING! It’s about a girl that sees the absolute best in life despite having been dealt some of the worst that life has had to offer. It will make you see the best of things, and want to scream at the top of your lungs at the same time.

I LOVED the tracks mentioned in the book such as “Sex” by The 1975 (for some reason this song reminds me of the energy that I felt a few years ago the first time I heard “Sweet Disposition” being performed live by The Temper Trap on some TV show I stumbled upon) “Angels” by the XX which is stunning and Panic Switch by Silversun Pickups – song is just heavy! Kate has been blessed with a unique and enduring friendship with her buddy Gus, an up and coming musician with his band Rook. There was so much to Keller and as his and Kate’s secrets came to light, the true testament of this man and his character came to be. It’s a plan that doesn’t include love, but somewhere along the way Keller Banks entered her life and threatens to shoot that plan to pieces.Time to be with people you love and share beautiful moments with them like sunsets , or coffee, or books or music or just tShirts. If you could give every grown up who reads your book to a child a 1 or 2 sentence script of what to say after reading, what would it be? BUT good music of any genre is irresistible and I feel like I’ve been opened up to a whole new world!

Not that he lets any of those stop him very much and it’s good to see him still challenging penny-pinching bureaucracy and evasive jobsworths while venturing outdoors as often as he and his motorised scooter have enough charge to do so. I finally decided to listen to it this week on audible, and I loved it as much if not more than the book.Yes, this story is gut wrenching and at times devastating, but it’s also inspiring, thought provoking and heart-warming.
