The compartments are good for separating food but if they end up tipping it out it sort of becomes useless. The elephant design is really cute and I like the different sections for adding different amounts and types of food. For some reason when our littlest Penelope sees a bowl/plate in front of her, her instinctual actions always has her pouring the contents of said bowl/plate over her face (trying to get it in her mouth and only to succeed maybe 10% of the time, if that).
