But that aside it's still a good collection of songs even if it's a little top heavy with UK entries some of them not our highest scoring entries. A must have for fans who never hunted for import collections which other counties have proudly released for years, pity it took so long here. This unique 3CD album features 70 of the most memorable songs from the contest's history - including enduring fan favourites alongside massive selling winners. What lets it down a bit - and this is by no means unusual with Eurovision compilations - is the inclusion of many foreign language songs in their English versions.

Note: it comes in a cardboard gatefold sleeve rather than a jewel case - not my favourite format to be honest, but it's nice and compact for the shelf! LP2 presents a run of perfect Pop gems, including Loreen with ‘Euphoria’, ‘Popular’ from Eric Saade, ‘Wild Dances’ from Ruslana, Helena Paparizou, Verka Serduchka and Netta, before heading back to well-loved ‘80s winners from Nicole with ‘A Little Peace’, Johnny Logan’s ‘What’s Another Year’, and one of the greatest singers ever, Céline Dion with the 1988 victor ‘Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi’. The first disc includes the anthems ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Love Shine A Light’ before the massively popular winner ‘Fairytale’ from Alexander Rybak, and dance-floor fillers from Charlotte Perrelli, Gina G, and Dana International.
